the bold part has came up in my mind when looking at the showroom/testdrive units. I strongly believe this is the case.

btw, from my past experience in manufacturing company (electronics anyway), sometimes we do sell the pre-production units and continue with mass-pro units. Is proton doing the same ?...

but sometimes, the pre-production units will go as a display unit at the shop.

not selling pre prod unit of course, only some used as display coz to save cost. N he mentioned that for that hidden part, never occur in their mind that malaysian is really inspecting until that part. :-). Ha..ha..next time prtn knowsla, people will inspect until under the car.

So, i think its enough info i that i gathered i share, preve already launch. Many have test driven it. So, i believe we shudnt be shy, just continue comments on pros n cons.

But if can, if u hate the G or dissatisfied with G, can u all please stop Blamming Prtn coz i think n i believe, protonians dont involve in politics, they work hard i believe. I like to see them go bankrupt. If they are not competant why waste my tax payers money. And saying this has nothing to do with my love for malaysia. If malaysia was at the heart of these organisations instead of just raking our money, they will buck up and do us justice. Not constant bailout with our money and forcing us to accept crap vehicles? Look at airasia and perodua. Do you see people b****ing about them as much? Wake up, we are no longer living in kampung days. Even Korea whom 20 years ago was lower income than us now has kia, hyuidai, Samsung, girls generation and kimchi to be exported successfully. What do we have to show? Apam balik ar or kuih kochi?

Erm, for ecu stting, being informed, this one across all manufacturers, its been tune to be balance, interm of reliability, fuel consumption, performance and safety. Everything has been taken into account. I think its not that hard to familiarise with cvt characteristics, same as changing from manual to auto.

But doesnt mean it cant be set for performance. Do u think merc@beemer pwrtrain is dumb allowing tuners to supress them? Nope actually. Just the purpose is diff. Tuners more towards performance. Fc n even emmisison is not their priority.

people like it because they can see a leap and an effort on proton's part to improve themselves

people hate it because there are people who like it. they hate it because they've been let down by proton once, and now that they have spent all their hard earnt money on what they believe are better albeit more technologically outdated brands, they don't want to feel like they've made the wrong choice. they want proton to be forever shitty so that they can feel that they've made the right choice in buying other brands. they want to keep on believing that they are driving something better.
