what is going on with the delay of engine these day?  why can step on car no responce and only got some later?

Based on what my proton powertrain engineer friend told me, expected to launch in march if everything goes smooth. No enhancement on the engine though but comes with 6 speed manual. I think proton will just introduce r3 version for preve. I have asked my friend to join fnf but seems he reluctant to. Quite bz always balik after 7. Who said proton workers lazy? Seriously they are as hardworking as other car makers worker if not harder

Anyway... back to the topic.... i nvr expected such problem could happen.... Think it sure gonna affect the preve sales.... They sure got a very serious QC problem. Dunno how they pass the Euro Ncap with 5 star.

This is my personal review of the Preve. I'm a Vios E spec owner and was a Accord SM4 owner. First of all, i
am quite satisfied with it. Proton has really improved a lot in this car. A definite value for money. Nothing much to complain in terms of overall performance of the car...handling is years ahead of city,vios,altis (Not duall VVTI)  n to a huge extent , the civic...anyone who says otherwise about the handling is talking bull (unless you're comparing to completely modded suspension system).the car was really composed when i switched lanes suddenly without slowing down...I expected the car to be huge but it didn't turn out to be so...it's similar in size to the forte but with better legroom ...I dislike the spot welding finishing though but the test drive n display unit had different finishing... Acceleration is good enough (so much better than a pre-dual vvti altis) but cannot match a proper Vtec ...1.8/2.0 Civic/Lancer would smoke it at real high speed but how many of us drive at 180kmh all the time right? Built quality of the interior is more or less the same as Vios,City n Forte but i do notice that the forte has better fitting...in short, worth the money you're paying and yes, i've booked the car

C'monnn.. can't someone here take a peek at the accident scene? Look for skid marks, damaged kerbs, etc..And treat yourself with some teh tarik afterwards. I'd do it myself, but it's like 300km away from me.

have to ask Hezeri Samsuri, the top gear malaysia editor.. if not mistaken he's among the first to tweet about the accident and the 120km/h figure.

We would like to address concerns regarding pictures of a damaged Proton Prevé circulating on the web.

At around 4.45pm yesterday, one of our sales advisors was involved in an accident while driving from Jalan Sentul towards Jalan Pahang in KL, when the Proton Prevé that he was driving hit a divider and landed awkwardly causing the lower arm to break.

While we're happy to report that our sales advisor is unhurt, our test-drive unit, however, was damaged as a result of the accident. So, remember to buckle up and drive safe because accidents can happen - to anyone and to any car.

Test drove the car, the low end torque quite bad before the turbo kicks in, but overall the car is pretty good. There is a gearbox cooler i think, pretty sure I saw one. Acceleration felt pretty smooth ,felt something like the accord 2.0. Looking forward to the SE version.
