Mine including sunroof, doesn't make sense if 144k car dont have tint  tongue.gif
For me sunroof is most important because all the time expose to sunshine.

Mine front and rear K emblem free from SA.

Mine whole car too. I put 6mil security tinting on all side windows, front/back windscreen & sunroof is a 2mil film.
10years warranty from Solar Tint, cost me some 2.3k

NICE  thumbup.gif
so meaning one balast / tangki go to 2 double endpipes ? how much it cost man? care to share? any performance difference after that?

saw K5 white at LKSA today, WWK *88*...tot it was DJSoo, but then saw lady driver...
*
Yess..u r rite K5WHITE..the shop was introduced to me by Selangor Forte club member..they already do survey regarding exhaust shop and they found this shop is one of the best in term of this exhaust thing with reasonable price..it cost me total RM680

Muffler+piping+labour charge: RM 400
Exhaust tip: RM 75 each x 4= RM300
Discount RM 20

if u want other tip design also got..they also do customize extractor and decat

So far..i noticed the sound increased a bit especially during hard pressing (but sportier sound)..but during static or cruising its almost negligible
In term of performance the pickup is almost about the same..
But i'm more happy regarding the cosmetic appearance

went for 1st 1k service at the Kinrara service center. took almost 3 hours for them to do the service. i do complain about the car alignmnet and stearing vibration. the tech took my car for a drive and believe took almost 20 min to come back (maybe he enjoy driving k5) . they told me need to so alignment and balancing. FOC for bellow 2000km but they dont have the facilities to do in kinrara service center. they need to bring the car to the 3rd party to do it. unfortunetly i cant wait any more so, plan to go this weeked to do the alignment and balancing. just not happy that it took almost 3 hour to do a simple normal service. the good thing is , the service guy is very polite and say sorry for he delay since they have lot of car to handly that day. he charge me RM23+ . for the 1st service. i believe K5 required 4.2 L oil, accoring to the service center, i need to purchase 5L and they will retun back the 0.8L to me so i can use it during the next service, but i am lucky enough that they top up me 0.2L FOC for this time.

yesterday try to push the car to the limit, able to reach 180km/h but not dare to push more hard since start smell like rubber burn smell from aircon, the smell is gone in few sec later on. need to go and check with the service center this week about that also.

eh?? the diffuser is the black thing? LOL sorry i'm very noob in car stuff..i thought balang=diffuser..hahahaha..the diffuser of course have to potong for another exhaust to come out..initially i thought it will be ugly, but luckly the guy manage to cut it accordingly..so the difference is not that noticeable..but of course not 100% the same la..maybe like 95% almost the same..but i can say its almost negligible..unless u r OCD kiasu kind of guy..haha..i think if u want to make it more neat, can buy this diffuser from ebay:

Its not so hot after installing. Ori sunroof is oredi tinted but i wanted to cut the heat more rather than sun light. Yes there is a difference. Glass feels warm only. Outside temp 34deg.

This is the problem which i brought up before which i found in a number of test drive cars. But this is the first time im hearing bout the burnt rubber smell in the car cabin. Best to get it checked out.

Added on May 18, 2012, 9:47 amI changed the front fog lamp bulbs to 88W white/blue bulbs. Original bumbs were 50W. But i found that the front bulb cover (not the casing) melted. Took back to Kia and they agreed to replace both sets of fog lamps FOC. Seems that a previous customer also had the same 'melting' problem but with the original bulbs.

For your info, the cost of 1 fog lamp set is RM210 so both would cost approx RM 420 not inclusive labor and taxes. Not cheap.

Isnt the sunroof already heavily tinted? Why is the sunroof more important?

White requires constant maintenance and washing. Silver even if its dirty it isnt noticeable.
