wanna ask all k5 owner, what tinting you guys using, did ya tint the moon roof as well?? getting my light graphite soon!!

I m using 3M. VLT 70 in front, the rest including the moon roof VLT 50.

First see if u really need the tint or not. The glass in the Optima is UV cut glass. Ive left the car in the heat and ive found it quite ok. Im not installing any tint as i plan to change the front windscreen every year or two (insurance).

I find the stock UV cut glass to be ok too; heat rejection is good but HM still finds it glaring. If I tint, it's more to do with reducing glare than heat rejection

bro, mind to tell how much ur tinted ? VLT70 gt problem using smartag and GPS ?

anyone consider the insurance of the moon roof? my SA told me that the moon roof cost over 20k to replace and no insurance company is is donig moon roof coverage

so i am considering some sort of protection for the moon roof. any idea?

Is cover under windscreen as well. So if 20k to replace the glass, then 15% is RM3000 premium

So far so good. Smart tag n gps can use even wif the 70. Cost over 2k coz i did the sun roof as well.

Does any K5 owners here tinted their sunroof? Contemplating either to tint sunroof or not.

Have seen some K5 installed with K emblem.. do u guys got it online or available here in KL. mind sharing?

Mine including sunroof, doesn't make sense if 144k car dont have tint
For me sunroof is most important because all the time expose to sunshine.

Mine front and rear K emblem free from SA.
