Hahah!!!1 I like what i see! Actually the knee guard is a nice move! As for the light box, i think u might need to lighten up the front a little bit more. The light seems very soothing to me now, just the front (the most important part) seems a little dark in comparison. U need the light at the front to showcase your work. Just my 2 cents worth tongue.gif

Start seeing more n more high standard stuff coming!!!!

This is my Final WIP.. but still need some touch up.. I can't spray with top coat.. because this is a bling bling finishing =,= .. else the color will turn flat.. =,=

but here goes~ fully painted + stickers  whistling.gif  Although I know it's rather not advice to use stickers.. but I'm quite bz with my job.. and now I had scarifice 2 hours sleep time to finish building it  icon_rolleyes.gif

man I envy you guys. I am always scared of colouring my kit because I thought I might be ruining it along the process sweat.gif

Bro, no such thing as ruining a model kit. Modeling as a hobby, is merely an activity for you to gain some fun. Just do it. Even after completion u feel there'r still room for improvement, that's a good sign, means u have a reason to start your next kit n make it even better!!!!

Yes, it's graphite powder as shauno said.

However, be very careful not to be confused about the mirror reflect glossiness.

The glossiness comes from the fine finishing of the black paint done by Shauno, NOT the powder. Even without the powder, i bet his spoon already mirror finish. Wiping with the chrome just add a touch of metallic onto the surface.

Many people thinks this powder do magic, but the truth is: it doesn't. Still need the skill to create the mirror reflective glossiness first, before adding the powder n make it looks like real chrome.

Though I was curious..since both categories have this photography judging criteria..thought of just want to try post something on photography even though I did not participate in any of the categories.. Not sure if that's allowed..

It don't exist as far i aware but i don't think it hard to replace Exia with Astrea tho.

Edit: Just wondering it is ok that to have a piece that have been remove seemlines only on one side to enter as part of the snapfit as that piece i used on removing seamlines long time ago.
*
why not? as long as u dont mind showing the grey color putty, or color difference (if u use color to cover it) that will deduct your point... smile.gif

btw, transfer method to waterslide same like normal dry transfer method right? (scratch)

yes scratch on it only. it's useful when u have samuel decal which normally they will have left over blank space at the sides....

of course the result will not be as nice as using dry transfer alone.... but dry transfer really hard to apply le... T.T

Nice! Overall looks as clean as it should be (though i would love to see more decals tongue.gif)

Btw, i think if u can brighten up the photo a little, that would be good. Also there is no action pose!!!! Guys, u will have your own thread when u post up the completed kit, so take the opportunity & ...... POST AS MANY AS U COULD!!!!! Give your work more photos, more pose, more gaya!!!!!

Guys, just bare in mind; in the case your kit's won, ur photos might be used IN A MAGAZINE!!!! So show your pictures as u would see in a magazine!!!! Like what u see in Dengeki Hobby.
