Hardware store fulls of fiber/plastic/allu etc nettings at a cheap cheap price. However, this would mean self installation and the aesthetic of the work... well... I can tell you i tried it and it looks ridiculous sweat.gif

Also these type derail from the main idea of having a secure mesh.

You guys want security of just net for mosquito/bug ?

Fibre net mainly for mosquito/bug. It magnet stick to grill if the grill is metal. Or additional magnet on the wood/alu frame.

17yrs ago, supplier install for my door and window. Nowaday can DIY and get it from ACE. It come in set with choice of window/door size.

There is still got supplier doing this. And come with some new range.

Example of fiber net. https://www.lelong.com.my/diy-mosquitoes-in...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Ah, then I think I get what you mean.. it wouldn't be what I wanted. I would have thought the same customized mesh door can be made, but instead of using stainless steel for the mesh, it is using aluminum type. Yes, I know it defeats the purpose of security, but security is not my main concern in my condo. Just looking for alternative compared to the traditional prison bar grill door. Besides, only recently the mesh door design has been approved to be installed in my condo. smile.gif

Hi, anyone to intro? Or any Arxtech/Meshtec/Panther/any other Mesh security grill sales representative here that can give me a quote for my condo main door for a 2250mm x 2500mm size?

contact them directly and ask la bro. I also spent few months doing survey and nego with them. When you talk to few of them, you can better understand pros and cons of each then decide on one and nego. It's a bit like buying car lo - if you want to buy an affordable car, every dealership can throw price and give you similar offer. If you are looking for luxury car, you will probably spend more time testing, doing research, nego but not easy so probably can ask for additional value added service.

I just confirmed my order with Panther Protect today. Doing for the whole house, with a combination of casement windows, top hung windows, sliding door/windows, and a swing door. I spent almost a month doing my research before making the decision (cause it is so damn expensive so need to ensure my money will be worth it). Incase this would help any of you make your decision.. here is a simple chart I did. smile.gif

Nice, thats helpful.

Also pls dnot forget about the actual lockset system.

Its good to know what lockset they are providing, if the mesh/door warranty 10 years and your lockset gets jammed..

For Panther Product, they are actually aluminium mesh so the whole thing is rust free.
I have installed their Premium series, mainly for asthetics and natural cooling consideration.

In short 3X7 door roughly 3k
(3x7) x2 panels sliding door 6k
(3x7) x3 panels folding door 11k
and that is with a 20% discount. Their standard product only give 10% discount.

Arxtech one thing to look for is that their installation might not be all on point. Their multi point lock doesnt go into the anchor properly i noticed. Its installer problem.

Any user of panther protect and arxtech can give a review on their product?

as currently found out that:

Panther protect comes in 2 variants: Deluxe & Premium, so as usual deluxe is the normal range which gives 0.9mm SS 304 mesh with warranty of 10yrs for mesh n frame, 6 yrs of accessories. Premium range will be 1.0mm SS 316 mesh with warranty of 15 yrs + 10 yrs.

Arxtech stated giving 1.4mm or 1.2mm mesh of SS316... with warranty of 12 yrs powder coating...(not mentioning frame) + 6 years of accessories....

Some previous forumers mentioned about the mesh netting lock type.... not sure how significant is this.....

Can some of the recent user or long existing user give some review n suggestions?

Thank you in advance~~ happy.gif
