Yeah that's my bro!! Awesome feeling right when your libido is high. You get to push more and fk I feel great. Almost gay. I just wanna know more about you guys lol. Especially if there are hot girls in the gym. I feel so sexually deprived and frustrated that I push myself harder.

I was doing cleans today. When I wanted to rack up the dumbbell, my thumb got caught up in between. 60 kgs resting on my thumb. Fml. I don't know if it's dislocated it what but its swollen. There goes my leg day.

Your muscle will still be lost unless you can eat crazy lots of food which is not possible. Marathon and bodybuilding simply doesn't go together.

Sigh. I really wanted Kai Greene to win. He's been there since forever, slowly getting closer and closer but never won the title yet. Why didn't jay cutler joined this year?

I highly doubt that you can go wrong with the form for shrugs. Just take time off. And you can't work on your shoulders with an injured traps. And it is not torn. If it is, you won't be typing this anymore.

Don't think it will hurt if you lift heavy.. Better go check if it gets worse.
When I injure my rotator cuff I wasn't able to bench, do pull ups or anything though. |

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Oct 12 2012, 07:41 PM) Umm I never actually consulted any doctors for my injury while lifting weights but I did get injured while i was in my state's badminton team back in my schooling days. Go to any general practitioner. If they suspect is anything serious they'll refer you to a specialist. But before this I sprained my ankle real bad and went straight to the emergency unit. They x-rayed it and found out it was just a swollen bone. Never experienced physio. If you tear your ligament or something like that you'll have to go for physio. I don't think your condition is serious but watch out for signs just in case. |

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Oct 12 2012, 09:32 PM) Thanks for the info bro.. I've only some pain when I stressed out that part of shoulder.. I'll avoid stressing the rotary cuff... Another thing I found out is.. when I use my 5kgs to warm up I did the same front raise.. I felt the cuffs being stressed out but no pain.. This thing I don't know bro. Better ask the sifus here. Just take time off then slowly build it up You think my cuffs are still weak? I had this pain when I lift my 10kgs on the same front raise.. Prolly need to strengthen them first? Added on October 12, 2012, 9:51 pm QUOTE(-Dan @ Oct 12 2012, 09:23 PM) Shouldn't be doing behind the neck stuff anyway. Recipe for disaster. Very few people can get away with doing them without getting injured at some point in time. Read about this before. A PT came up to me and told me to stop doing the pull down behind the shoulders too. But I've not experienced any injuries before though. Just keep the shoulder blades squeezed and I think it will be fine. This post has been edited by kubuk: Oct 12 2012, 09:51 PM |

If you just started lifting, not point for a drop set. Won't make much of a difference. Those are for advanced lifters who have difficulty reaching absolute failure.

QUOTE(lightonokira @ Oct 13 2012, 12:46 PM) Thanks for clarifying this, but it won't be a problem right to lift some light weights as a last stimulation till failure? I don't think there will be any problem with that.. But why do more when the results are the same. I'm not sure if it might lead to overtraining or not. :S |

Pedro, you said before that I can get lactase pills. Where to get ah? I went to pharmacies and clinics they don't carry lactase cause very very few percentages of malaysians are lactose intolerant. That's not very nice lol.

QUOTE(joeblows @ Oct 29 2012, 01:09 PM) Srs question. Why only love for bench, squat and deadlift and not the other compound movements. Enthusiasm for OHP and clean and press and lunges seems rather muted here........ If I'm chasing time I do clean and presses during shoulder days. I do bulgarian splits and lunges on my leg days too. I wanna ask. What brand of milk is lactose free? I still don't know if I'm lactose intolerent or not. I can drink whey or protein blends no problem but then I shit so much if I drink milk. Never had a problem drinking milk when I was young too. |

You don't even need to cut yet. There won't be any muscle left after cutting. You need to bulk. Your progress is too slow even after a year.

If I have flu and stuff, I still go to the gym. If fever, better to stay at home. You'll just waste your time.
