If you go natural, fish. Cut down on meat and eat lots of fish. Also nuts, nuts are brain food. But not peanuts, almonds are good. Almonds and raisins and dates with milk. Haven't tried ginko but so many people swear on it. Something I have to try. Stay sharp

The local Azheimer's Disease Foundation is giving a talk by a neurologist on vascular dementia at its premises in PJ this Saturday at 2 pm. http://adfmmalaysia.blogspot.com/2013/09/s...k-vascular.html Vascular dementia, also called multi-infarct dementia, is different from normal Alzheimer's in that it tends to occur in the elderly a year or two after a stroke. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vascular_dementia |

Worse, it caused diarrhea the next day, and I had to run to the toilet several times before the paper. That was a day to remember for life. That stupid product nearly caused me to fail that subject. I've never touched it again ever since. |

How about Coconut oil....?
Coconut oil can boosts brain functions and immune system, lower unhealthy cholesterol, has high antioxidant activity, nourish the skin, help to lose weight, higher energy level (the medium chain fatty acid can be used instantly to generate energy and heat and increase metabolism)... Coconut oil can be used internally or externally (skin, hair). I even apply it directly to cuts or wounds and it helps to prevent infection, aids in the healing and reduce the pain as well. Can be used for cooking also... but better for sweet-based food, rather than salty food.. The better ones in the market are like Nutiva-Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil... I get mine from iHerb.com.. cost about RM34 for 444ml.... just key in discount code GTJ907 for US$10 discount (above US$40)... u can check it... http://www.iherb.com/nutiva-organic-extra-...80?rcode=gtj907 This post has been edited by dream.angels: Oct 23 2013, 08:38 PM |

Tried a lot of different nootropics over the course of 1 year while I was in the US. The trick is finding those that are easy to get and relatively cheap. So the ones I recommend are:
(1) Vitamin B complex. Can get in any pharmacy. (2) Coenzyme Q10. Can get in most pharmacies. No need prescription. (3) Racetams like Piracetam, Aniracetam & Pramiracetam (I don't know how to get in Malaysia, although someone here said can get in any pharmacy. Might also be able to buy through the internet, although it is hard to know whether the content is genuine) They improved my mood and helped release unlocked energy. |

B Complex Vitamins is good for the brain and keep the brain sharp. My recommendation is Bee Pollen which is complete food and the most nutritious food we can eat and contain over 200 kinds of nutrients and especially rich including B complex vitamins. All in one
