May be effective ........
May be effective ......... I hear that a million times from all sorts of products. Everyone's using that phrase just to sell their products. What they really mean is "We don't really know it's effective or not, but we guess it could be because we read or heard it from someone or somewhere. And it will definitely help us sell our supplements if we just use that magic line " This post has been edited by Ngto: Oct 28 2014, 12:22 PM |

TBH, I am really not into taking medicines to sharpen my memory because I'm afraid of some side effects that might result from excessive intake of meds without any therapeutic claims. I'm not saying though that its bad for the health, I'm just more into natural ways of sharpening my memory. Well, you don't need to scrutinize each lessons you have. Take time to read it in order to retain it in your memory, focus and have enough rest in order for you to be prepared well in your exam. The time I usually study is between 4-6 in the morning to start up my day because its the time frame I think that my memory is still fresh and are able to grasp every learnings I take. One thing as well, I have a method which I include in my study habit in order for me to remember lists and that is the mnemonic. Its just simple though, you will actually take the acronyms that you need to memorize specially if its a group or lists of words.

As a sufferer of adult ADHD and already tried multiple nootropics even including illegal drugs. I'll suggest to start with the basic 1st for study concentration and memory.
1st have to look at lifestyle and foods that you take. -Nothing beats a Good morning exercise + sunlight. It help with concentration and mood for the whole day. -try your best to eat healthily with variety. Plenty of vegetables and healthy fats. Try your best to cut junks foods, sugars and carbohydrates. -cut coffee because of tolerance and it increase cortisol/anxiety instead get a good green tea or chocolate drink(dark cocoa powder and make sure it is not Dutch processed). -learn to be organised in life and in study. If all that already implemented, start with basic supplements For study I'll suggest -magnesium -vitamin B complex -vitamin C -grape seed extract -omega 3 (suggest from krill or very good quality fish oil(please keep fish oil in fridge because it easily rancid) |

Fish oil omega 3 - Particularly DHA is helpful when it comes to memory boost. Try incorporating walnuts, avocado and coconut oil to your diet too as these foods contain essential fats that are beneficial to the brain.
