My ride : Myvi 2018 H spec
Budget : 5K (for below setup)

Current setup in mind ---> Morel Tempo Ultra 602 + CCWR254 + DSP with AMP

Appreciate if Sifu can recommend suitable DSP + AMP and any disadvantages if I retain the HU, music will be streaming via HP (Sportify Premium).

Appreciate any advice.

Hi guys. I am looking for compatible speaker to replace my crusty old stock BLM speaker.
It's been way overdue for good sound. Stock BLM speakers are way too boomy to listen to especially on radio.
I'm looking for either coaxial or component speakers for door. And maybe in future upgrade rear as well.

- My ride: Saga BLM
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: Prefers SQ especially for audio vocal podcast
- File format/medium used for my source: Youtube Phone bluetooth aptX via aux
- Music genre: Japanese Jazz like Persona 5 and youtube (Mostly tech review like the verge, lew later, linustechtips during traffic jam/waiting)
- Budget: around RM200-300. Can top up if really worth
- Setup type preferences: 2pcs Component for my stock BLM door speakers
- Other requirements (if any): None that I know of yet. I just wanna avoid boomy vocals from front door speaker without sacrificing bass

My current setup
- Pioneer DEH1250MPG Mosfet 50w x4 headunit
- stock blm speakers rclxm9.gif
- Generic chinese 150w Dome tweeter on all 4 speaker (picture below as reference)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

- JVC CSGD1210 subwoofer powered by Roadmark R1 1000w monoblock amp (Subwoofer pretty much here to support the boomy stock speaker. Would prefer to remove sub if door speaker can handle bass without bloat mids)
- all doors stock untreated barebones metal with only factory plastic foam (advice needed if should do treatment first or speaker first)

Been eyeing on the Mohawk plug n play 4 speaker combo or JVC CS-J620 component floating around in lazada/shopee.
Wanted to ask see if got other better options/advice before deciding.

Is this speaker set worth the price? I wanted a speaker upgrade but I really not sure which one to choose from and then i come across this... I mostly listen to 'EMO' songs, but would go for bass heavy song once in awhile.... the bundle cost 1.3k

Budget : 1.5k

- My ride: Honda City '14 V spec with touchscreen HU
- Prefers SQ/SPL/SQL: SQL
- File format/medium used for my source: Mostly from Bluetooth 5.0 Spotify with HQ, occasionally youtube mp4 from Pendrive.
- Music genre: mainly trance, pop, r&b
- Budget: rm800 will top up if highly recommended
- Setup type preferences: no idea, active i guess?
- Other requirements (if any): prefer using back my Honda HU, the original speaker in the front is an OK kick for me just needed a bit more, I don't mind small subwoofer in the trunk as long can be easily removed or turned off when needed. Plug n Play I meant.

Just take this one.. price as below but this price base on offer I received in July this year :-

1) RM890 for a set component speakers installed in the front doors
2) RM780 for a pair of co-axial speakers in stalled in the rear doors
3) RM1,500 for component speakers in the front doors and co-axial speakers in the rear doors.

ASC Malaysia statement:
All plug and play and sound quality 100% much better than original stock speakers. No wire cut at all. Sound is the best among other plug and play speakers in the market. Key advantage of the sound quality is the low frequency bass from the 6.5" is very good and dynamic. You may not need subwoofer anymore.

the helix sub are designed to match with their own dsp.You can mod the wiring and connect it to other DSP of course but i would think of a dsp-amp with like 1-2k RM match with a helix sub for 1k over...dont think it make much logic to match a slightly more premium sub with a cheaper dsp.

get a dsp-amp with a proper amplified underseat sub should give u better results.
