I've just installed a Kenwood DMX5020S HU and added an old Blaupunkt 2 channel amp and a 10" subwoofer. The rest of my setup is stock.

Now, I'm thinking of upgrading the 4" in the dash. Either 4" components or coaxial, as i do not want to do anymore modifications.

Looking for a warm and mid sound signature.

May I get your opinion on whether the price of RM1600 for a set of Morel Maximo Ultra Mk II component set with coaxial speaker (standard installation included) is cheap or just the standard price. The set is ori and comes with warranty.

this is normal price. the different rely on how it was installed and tuned.

Better dun buy the coax, use the money for Morel Tempo if you like Morel. Or a 2ch amp.

Front : Hertz DSK 165.3 (80W RMS)
Rear : Hertz ECX 165.5 (70W RMS)
HU :android 2 GB + 16Gb (nothing fancy)
DSP : Audxeon D1600 6 channel DSP

Will do custom fibreglass casing for front 6.5" speaker + run new wires from amp to each speaker with tweeter to occupy space from current 4" slot on dashboard + soundproof (door panel, flooring, roof, wheel arch, car boot)

Is it ok or can I go for another brand for speakers? Generally looking into using something compatible with the amp since bought already haha.

Do you really need the rear fill? Since you’ve already bought the amp you could also run your front stage active to utilize the DSP and add an active subwoofer. Hertz does produce good sounding speakers so no worries there. Just my 2 cents.

Hi need more info and advice for Morel which should i choose Morel Maximo Ultra 602MKII or Maximus 602.
But i do notice the Maximus 602 dint have crossover. Btw i could't find Morel Ultra Tempo is there in the market ??

I find the original speaker is not clear enough, so would like to upgrade them. I read many are saying changing HU is more effective for that purpose.
I'm sorry I really have no idea pls advice.
I dont need to watch movie, just display my song name would be sufficient.

I prefer something better or similar with my previous persona elegance sound. much better than my current 1. very clear and bassy setup

it should be tempo ultra.

if you match with a proper amplified dsp, then of course the tempo ultra sound better among the list.

get some clarity and some low extension will be good for your current setup. Not really recommended headunit upgrade for current stage

increase your system spectrum for extra high and low freq will solve your issue.

confirm void. Anyway, my car only 1 month old, i already cut wire to install underseat subwoofer.

How to do this?
Currently my stock HU only can adjust bass-mid-treble ( any idea whats the ideal level for this 3 ?)
I have already added 2inch Full range speaker on dash and underseat sub.
My song preference will be mostly acoustic and oldies too.

why need to cut wire to install an sub?
