If you're willing to spend, then no necessarily true. Those OEM plug adaptors and a Alpine touch screen will set you back quite a lot of $$$$ but no need for cutting.

As for warranty, anything you do to modify your car, service centers can and will blame the modification to not give you any warranty. So it's up to you.

Well I already get the confirm words from the agent that has serve my family for decades that he will help me settle the warranty if I didn't cut the wire. and keep the original set of audio system.

regarding the system and OEM connector, only alphine got it?

for the oem connector, i got it for you...it's compatible with any aftermarket headunit..:>

check out Kenwood latest model, they do have one plug and play for toyota ride, but kinda limited in the market, even some dealers are having a hard time getting one

get component set, a 4channel amp, and a subwoofer.

3k +/- should be able to do it no problem. if you want to soundproof your door then may not be enough.

will it make any difference with the current speakers? coz i dont like the current speakers, if they do, what brand should i look for?

it will most probably make your system sound better..as for brand, you need to test each 1 and find the best match

ill take door sound proofing:

when your speaker resonates/vibrates (the mid bass, when theres bass kicking in), it will travel through the door. more often than not that will cause unwanted vibration/noise and it will pollute your sound reproduction.

sound proofing helps reduce or even completely eliminate that.

another example is engine firewall/hood or bonnet sound proofing:

engine noise? minimal or gone.

bro, that means few year later our car also wont got the yi yi oh oh sound ?

what do u mean by yi yi oh oh sound? sound proof is to prevent unwanted noise cause by vibrating car parts. like quazacolt said. but its not solution to all noise in your car.if the noise come from ur foldable rear seats, sure sound proof wont much help.

put some good comp like morel etc at ur front speaker, play it loud and you know what i mean

Bro, the yi oh yi oh sound means because we install the subwoofer few year later inside thing will having some sound example from the behind board ki ko ki ko sound something like that... i am not sure you understand what i means or not

Even my C5 also have such problem after few years of usage, so that is normal.

But those sound are always treatable by doing proper sound insulation.

btw, with you planning for SQL... I don't think you can hear any yi yi oh oh sound.

sorry bro.i never had yi yi oh oh sound b4. but if u meant the unwanted noise come from rear board(placement for rear speaker board) i just treat them with some kind of sticky foam(any1 know this thing called?). yes the board make some noise when i change my sub to morel ultimo.but the problem solve already
