hmmm no offences but maybe u can save up untill u can get a good HU 1st...btw RM250 can only get a branded normal quality speaker...active 3way will be costing you thousands...

What do you mean by normal quality speakers? Is it better than the original one installed in my kenari. I really dont want fancy speakers just good enough to listen cause i dont really blast music its just my current speaker is distorted/speaker pecah. Anything better than my current speaker is good enough as long as the sound is clear

Get a pair of Alpine Type J, rm250 like that...it is coaxial 2 way
Im using it, not bad at all..but I also use power amp

Any aftermarket speaker is better than the stock speaker

How much is power amp? Is it really necessary? Is that kind of speaker sold at the car tuning shop or i have to buy the speaker alone then ask them to install for me

dominations buddy component only rm400 and coaxial only rm300...dun see a point to get those Elpine or Pionar or soni speaker....

Any recommendations for the head unit ? My friend recommended me to use the nakamichi na2750 or na2650. However, I found the na2750 respond is quite slow. So which nakamichi product should I go for ? or have better suggestions ?

went to car accessories shop,some recommendation as below :

1) change OEM DVD HU ( Convex ) and Mohawk OEM speakers ( front and back ),price arround RM1.4k
2) change speakers only,recommend Hertz component spk for front ( RM800 ),Pioneer/Any other 2 way spk for rear( RM200 )


pls advice *1 or *2 is better solution ? i myself prefer the 2nd option,change only speakers but there're not much adjustment(not even treble/bass,only in manual mode can adjust) on original HU,so is that a good solution ? ( Hertz speaker sensitivity is arround 92db,ori HU should be able to drive it? )

Go for Pioneer or Sony.. keep away current naka..

Real Nakamichi HU c/w CD300, CD400, CD500 & CD700II- has been death a long-long time ago..

Hi guyz, can help me choose between these two HU? Jvc kd r90bt and clarion cz702a..jvc spec seems quite not bad n cheaper than clarion while user friendly setting and nice reading interface too..but i heard clarion has better sound quality compared to jvc but not very user friendly and poor reading interface..dillemma~

why not alpine or pioneer?
