Why need to wait for balloting... Outside still got agents selling. I believe some forummer here must know some agents that can help u if you really want to get a unit.
*
there are units available.. provided u can swallow those 1500sqft price 600k+ 700k+..
those waiting for balloting are smaller units..

Bro. learn from the other forum that even you buy from the agents now, the price has been increase RM100k from the previous pricing. Compare to this, even the balloting price with no 5% discount, it is still cheaper than the agent price, as price is not jet up RM100k....

Conclusion...wait for the balloting if still keen for a unit... sad.gif

Norman bro.. you cant be seriously believing and spread it to this forum..
what he meant (IMHO) is buy, wait, and sell upon completion, and gain the 100k (owner gain , not developer)

or are you trying to minimize competition and get 1 urself hmm.gif

How is Rimba compared to this project in Bukit Segar, Cheras which is also next to a forest reserve and has KLCC view?

Agree with what Twin Gor said.

If compare both which located next to forest, probably will buy for own stay. If buy for own stay, normally rely on which location we prefer.
Cheras vs Kinrara with similar view, I definitely pick area I like.

As Rimba is so tough to get and need ballot and up 30k, thought of considering maybe "second best" option and need sifu advice.

Compare Rimba and Mark:

1. Rimba in kinrara good accesibility and Mark 10 mins drive from cheras leisure mall (MRT station) n 12 km from KLCC.
2. Both surrounded by high end landed and in Mark's case; Cheras Hartamas, Danau Mas, Segar Jaya etc
3. Both next to forest with fresh air and although Mark is leasehold, it's 185 meter above sea level (compared Foresta which is also 180 meter above sea level)
4. Rimba throw in lots of furnishing and Mark is fully furnished wt move in condition
5. Facilities both should be comparable, watch Mark's facilities http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B-IN7DROCo
6. Rimba more quiet and Mark has 10 retail shops and 36 SOSO below the service apartments
7. Rimba low density (238 units) and Mark higher density (403 units) but have 1/2/3 rooms with lower entry
8. Developer of Mark also developed USJ One Park
9. Any other factors to consider??

Mark latest sales status, launch last weekend, all 2 and 3 rooms units booked and left few 1 room unit

Any advice from sifu.....

It depends where is more suitable for you (working place, family house, usual hang out)...
Although I dont own a Rimba, but I prefer kinrara as I enjoy goin Sunway, Midvalley and Damasara (with the potential Kidex highway), work in Cyberjaya and the convenience of going back to kajang (family)..
I dont need to stay near KL since I dont go to KL center very often (not more than 10 times in a year)

Some ppl might wanna choose Cheras since near their work place in KL, near their family, like the amenities there...

IMHO, for me, it really comes down to location preference 1st..

If you are looking at investment point of view, it looks like Mark is more for rental play. Appreciation wise not sure.
Rimba wise I dont see good rental yield, might hav some up side potential for appreciation, thanks to its neighbour Duet selling at >500psft and also all the >500psft new development in Puchong.. some catalyst like future highway Kidex and Skip plus LRT 2km away.. Low dense is good as its a factor for appreciation as well..

Furnishing IMHO is just part of marketing.. location and potential is still important as far as for myself.. cheers..

Hmm, themark and RR are not really a good comparison against each another. The only similarity is the neighboring reserve forest.

The mark - leasehold, smallish studios, targeting younger crowd, commercial title, shops below, high density
RR - freehold, much larger build up, targeting bigger family, residential title, lower density.

I believe opposite or near to the build site would be shoplots that is completed but still vacant.

If my memory serves me well, there was a recent protest of huge TNB high tension cable that will be running along the hillslope of nearby, along Taman Bukit Segar Jaya and Cheras Hartamas, connecting to those huge pylons you see along Taman Connaught. Can't remember the exact location. Wonder what happened to it. Better double check on that one.
