Thank you for your reply.

The reason I am thinking to use Homeplug is to connect those OLD computers that do not have wifi device. Also thinking to use homeplug to connect network cable directly to the laptop and computer so that they can have better direct speed compare with using wireless speed which maybe a bit blocked from the wall in other rooms.

Also, can Homeplug able to use when connect to extension powerpoint plug?

Friday again.

And the speed are getting shitty already.

Normally video loading for streaming would take a few seconds.
Now...> 60 seconds.

Anyone using Asus router for unifi ?

Been using tp link with custom firmware for about 6 months at my parents home in klang. http://klseet.com/index.php?option=com_con...e&id=7&Itemid=6

But now I just subscribe to Unifi for my own house so I am wondering whether ASUS have better official support for firmware .

hmm ure problem is ure snr margin is bad.
Call them and ask whats the reading. Its suppose to be between -18 to -28 afaik.

also it looks like u have a loose cable somewhere or a broken glass in ure cable.

since fibre glass is inert and it doesnt emit any form of magnetism on static environment like a rainy day.
so its more on movement of the wire.

technically the only way in fibre glass wire to get affected by rain is
1. Broken Glass in ure cable
2. Loose cable
3. Exposed cable

i would check on this.

when u call tm ask them to check ure margins at different times.

when the inner fibre glass breaks, cable is exposed the whole line kong rain or no rain. no such thing as snr margin in fibre cables.

should i change my BTU or what? i'm fiber direct to my house coz i'm living landed in puncak jalil.
sifu here any idea?

PS: and i follow what KLSEET suggest to configure.. my Asus USB-N10 suppose to run at 150Mbps... i maximum only can get 72Mbps.. if i change the router to run 40mhz channel i can have 144Mbps speed on my asus USB tongle but then the wifi will stop functioning after short while....
