Speaker damaged ady, jar gei too much, coil jammed ady that's not rattle sound, its broekn speaker sound. Time to invest in a better sound quality speaker liao :thumb: Rockford? Kicker? Soundstream?

Ok! Stop powey windoe discussion, here is some farking useful information for ALL car owners. You don't need to believe me, these are PRECIOUS info I obtained from used car dealers! Due to my job nature, I have to meet like 50+ used ar dealers every week, & we all know they repair the trading cars @ minimal cost, so they can improve profit margin. So, here we go:

1) Window machine(the arm/frame) we made by ligthweight alluminium(future will be fully plastic). Reason being, to reduce weight. So if your rack patah, don't blame. Either heavier door or save petrol.

2) Motor we made by magnetic driven core, 1 fine day when the carbon wear off/too thin, your motor strength decreased/stop winding, then you'll have to change. Again, this is consumable part, can't blame.

3) Old Plotong utilize metal switches! Not the button itself, but the machine itself. Heavy production cost & prune to rust(but serviceable). If the switch stopped
working, just dismentle it, lubricate it, sand off the rust, its good as new!

Therefore, a set of power window for old Plotong SHOULD actually last very long. But why pple always komplen? Below are the findings & cure.

1) Motor failure/weak very quickly iss due to the harden window lining. Often u heard squeking sound frm the window, then the motor fail. If ur window winding speed is slowing down, pls lubricate ur rubber! Not the motor.

2) Most people said, I often lubricate my window with cclass 1 silicone base lubricants. Bear in mind, we're staying in high heat country. It quickly dried off the silicone & remain residue(such as dust& sand) the more you lubricate with silicone, the worst your rubber turn out in the long run. The right thing to do is, lubricate your window lining with oil base lubricants. 1 of the cheapest+effective lubricant is TYRE SHINE! Those white color thingy that only cost u 5 bucks 1 big bottle. If too oily, dilute with water.

3) Often heard the mechanic guy tell u original part last longer than immitation. My capayam motor has been with my ISWARA for lost count of years! Apply grease before pasang, it brings you out of trouble for very long time.


4) According to JIS(Japan International Standard), we're supposed to scrap the car by the age of 5. Now we're complaining the 20 years old Plotong GaGa power window failure?! Any car surived 5 years in Malaysia considered untung ady!!! Stop complaining, start maintenace!

The above are REAL experience, & still happening day in day out with all my used car dealers! Power window doesn't work? Squeeze tire shine and milk the window lining 1st, then only decide whether change parts. You don't have to belive me, but its being doing wonders for me all these years.

Normally they do, however if the loss is 40% > vehicle market value,normally total loss liao. Imagine when u wanna buy a used BLM, u went puspakom do inspection. Car value 28000, but B7 show ur car previously involved a 12000 insurance claim, will u still buy the car?

Added on April 14, 2012, 4:03 pmUnnegoable wasted petrol all the way go shah alam, besides its a refurbished rim. If the used rim no bent/crack, why need to remachine and repaint it? so, gave up the deal jor.

After that lost ma way, cant find the road to bkt kemuning from that side, went into alam impian, pass by forest also. dunno how ended up back to subang. didn't manage to visit YauYip today. may be next week.

Me! Many things in my mind now, since nothing can be done to the engine, so I supposed to invest in handling will be more proper.

1) Exhaust/intake upgrade
2) REAL front/rear diffuser
3) Trim wheel arch
4) 15" rim
5) Front dual port VR4 disc brake(or BREMBO/ENDLESS 4pot if budget allowed)
6) Rolling cage (most probably not, wifey gonna kill me)

Wet spark plug It happen to me all the time Ma wifu like to turn the key on then talk on the phone long² time, then only start. Normally after 2 seconds ACC before ignition, the entire engine already fueled up. It's possible that extra PSI applied and leaked from the injector sparkplug already wet, how to 1 kick start leh

You may experience it again, try to kick your pedal after 2 seconds of ACC before ignition, then you'll have trouble to start your car! But don't worry... normally you keep on cranking the damn thing it will start. Your car is normal. Just so happen that time your sparkplug wet.

There is no way I can know whether the spark plug is wet, but my experience told me these:
1) If the sparkplug is wet, crank speed is faster than usual and sounded muffled
2) To identify, you step on the pedal, you'll hear even muffled sound and crank speed even faster
3) Shut the ACC, wait for few minutes then try again, should be back to normal

Anyway, you can't identify what happened just now. Because a wet sparkplug does not happen all the time(unless you got a loose piston ring - may be you should now go and check your dipstick too ). After vehicle been running and all sparkplug should dried up ady. So you can no way find out what just happened.

Thanks for pointing that out sorry, uncle old school ady. Ma wifu normally just keep cranking until it start only. But I have no experience with the BLM lo.

Oh D I U.. didn't mentioned few days didn't start. Then its NOT ENOUGH FUEL instead of wet sparkplug la. In that case, terbalik la.
