the G version of the lens usually have better quality tho~ that is if you feel paying the extra 'dough' is worth it that is..

haha~ up from the same minimum aperture le~ the upgrade of 50mm 1.8g to 50mm 1.4g is another type of upgrade.. i was talking about 50mm 1.8d vs 50mm 1.8g or 50mm 1.4d vs 50mm 1.4g..

then again, the choice to upgrade is yours.. if you feel that to pay that amount is not justifiable.. then just go for the cheaper alternative that you prefer.

just chipping in that, if it was me, I'd opt for the G version as it usually provides faster AF speed and better IQ (as far as I know)

that's quite a hefty gear that you are going for considering you said you can't pay the extra 1k/750 for the upgrade since you dun make money from the gears you buy.. there's just too much that i cannot understand i guess.. i think i should learn more..

I think if you squat and take the picture, it would look better

cuz digicam sensor smaller, the DOF is shallower with bigger sensor..

if you want to try, perhaps use an UWA lens? prob can get sufficient DOF

keke.. 18mm on an 18-55 is also considered as UWA.. still can attempt with kit lens

How close can you go? cause I only have an 85mm lens and that's my furthest.. if that is not enough, probably i might not go.

Spam some old hong kong pictures. shot this while waiting for family..

think i wun be going to the motor show.. broga + waterfall today make me feel so tofu edi~~ i think i need to exercise more..

so sad la~ all my friends dowan bother about me.. i ask them go~ all dowan~ i go rest ba~ next event i will go.. keke this mth too hectic edi.. today morning broga.. 2 weeks later, broga again but diff group of friends.. keke~ so you confirm going?

p/s: noobing during the climb also.. brought tripod, then 3 of my lens.. climb up halfway, raining.. dun really have mood to change lens.. wakakaka.. stick with 35mm all the way until on the way down and rain stop, then only i swap to 85mm to take portrait of colleagues..
