Hahaha by the way, you don't have to get it now. I mean X-Wing always backorder since last year.

Can get it later as they often restock.

Where you live, Aurora?

I'm staying at KL. Where is your location?

Added on January 17, 2010, 12:59 pmI try ordering from lego shop just now, just to check the courier fee. But they are not delivering to Malaysia. How did you get yours?

I stay in Selangor.

I used vPOST. Last month they have free shipping within US. So I got them to ship to my vPOST US address then asked them to deliver to me.

I got it without tax. Hmm...

Hey LEGO-zens,

Have any one of u bought Technics set from Sg? If buy from Sg, will kena tax when bring back?

Anyone can advise on this?

i am malaysia, work in singapore. no problem buy in singapore and bring back to malaysia. but i alway bring the open and set up lego back. you know la... just say you buy long time ago and bring back to malaysia lo...

singapore is cheaper than malaysia, but still expensive. malaysia even worst. i am technic fan.
every august got sale here. more than 50% offer! but need go very very early to Q. the new 8048 and 8049 is quite good, i plan to buy these two. but release in singapore next month.

i think 8048 will be S$65.90 ( hope not S$79.90)

and 8049 is S$119.90 (always expensive than US, US only US$59.90)

yaphong, let me know when you are getting from US again.

8049 seems like a nice package, 2 pneumatics and 1 power function. Wonder how much it's cost when arrive here. If there going to be sales in Sg for this set, i'm definitely going over there!

Its ok bro, prefer to buy from local store because don't need to think about shipping cost.

I can wait until march and would have save money for it, now building 8421 Mobile Crane and still got to build 8285 Tow Truck. biggrin.gif

I got mine from a friend who works in sg for RM800. Save 20% from local price. The catch is he had to bring the packages over without box. The box is brought in later, just to be safe from you know what whistling.gif whistling.gif
