hi guys, im just assembly this bike, the circle on the picture is too long
do i need to cut it or just add few washer and lift up the stem?
*
You may want to cut it. most bikes have 3 spacers. It can be very dangerous. However some riders tend to not cut or cut less in view that they will be reusing the fork on another frame that has a longer head tube. Priority should be safety.

Anyone been to KH Cycles to service bikes? Charge RM300 for complete service and washing. Im'm thinking about it because my Exilir 5 brakepad keeps jamming on the disc. Sent 3 times to service but still remains the same thing.

I understand Bikepro are good at bleeding Avid brakes ....try and check it out ....The thing is you ll need to be a bit patient ...they re quite busy....but I doubt they ll wash the bike for you ...heheheh....

Ray also is another option....

Snake Bites

Is it just me or Maxxis ...or its Exception series have rather thin side walls ....yesterday I kena snake bite kow2 till can not seal back ...have to use tube ...funny thing is ...usually snake bites happen on both sides of the wall ...mine had 2 on the same side ....maybe I didnt put in enough air at the time ...but I guess its Flintstones way of welcoming my tubeless ... blush.gif

Emergency Tire Boot

The fastest, easiest, and most secure way to repair a cut or worn tire sidewall. The TB-2 is produced using a strong, waterproof vinyl membrane with fiber weave reinforcement. A super strong pressure sensitive adhesive assures the boot stays in place in any tubed tire, road or mountain, high or low pressure. A true ride saver.

pinch flat can only mean 1 thing, pressure too low... the rim hit the rubber and cause a pinch cut...

Yeah ...I think that was the case ....I didnt check my rear pressure doh.gif ....lesson learned la ...sigh

Another thing I notice about my High Rollers tyre was ...when you really push it ...it can get a bit slippery ...in spite the dry weather yesterday ...another factor might be my tyre width ....1.9 maybe too thin ...

Sinbad, does that means you're having a tear on the tire sidewall? U patch it back up?

Added on April 30, 2012, 11:26 amAren't the rear sliding before the front a good thing?

Tried to get the liquid to fill the gaps ...but the tear was too big ....in the end had to insert tube inside ...(remember...at minimum a tube and hand pump guys)

I thought snake bites happen on sidewalls ...anyway

I got this from the website:

The eXCeption Series of tires is a combination of our 62a compound and our 120 TPI casing. This not only makes for a lighter model tire: it also enhances cornering, braking, and acceleration. These tires are recommended for race use only.

Aiyoyyoyo....this was one of the impulse purchases I made ...sigh...Always do you research before buying things doh.gif ...Im definitely not a racer ...but what does it mean ?....Im guessing its not durable as compared to normal tyres ...is it?

Its been awhile since we ve indulge in some porn...but not bike porn la ...instead its ...
