damn fine bike. Was choosing between this and giant reign.
Perfect geo but the shock placement and internal cable routing turned me off.
Still, thumbs up!

Just forget the hardtail. Unless we use it fir competition. For Hobby. Why spend extra just to ride weekend?.  tongue.gif
*
Kekekekeke. You sound butthurted. I have to agree that Hard tail in kiara demands different skillsets.

went cycling in Kota Damansara yesterday and my butt nearly cracked from the saddle. Thinking of getting a new one that is more comfortable to sit on. Any suggestion? I hear Specialized saddles are quite recommended. Apparently engineered to prevent impotency biggrin.gif
*
do a butt test at specialized.you'll know which is the right width for you. recommended to get one that matches your sit bone with narrow design upfront. angle of the saddle is also very important.

QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Apr 3 2012, 09:21 AM)
hmm.gif are you sure your butt can get used to the saddle? Different people have different sit bones position ...some are wider and some are narrower ....the saddle can help ease your riding experience by flexing and positioning gel/pads at the right place ...meaning it will help ease the pressure on your sensitive areas...

In proper saddle will cause chaffing at the wrong places and will make it really uncomfortable ...even with padding on your shorts
Hehehe....if Brain Lopes can ...so can we! Those who buy SC frame can get really good price for Fox fork ...if you know anyone buying then you can tumpang ...price really worth it ....
*
SC frame can get good prices for fox fork? how does that scheme work? OEM or aftermarket forks? brows.gif

QUOTE(biatch0 @ Apr 3 2012, 09:38 PM)
Hey guys, just wondering... starting to face trouble with my rear brakes after flying with the bike a couple of times. Already replaced my disc once (shouldn't have put disc facing out), but now it's impossible to properly calibrate the disc rotor/caliper. Looking from the side, even the rotor doesn't seem to be center anymore! Not sure if I should change the rim, brakes, or both. DH shop already tried replacing disc and it doesn't seem to be the issue - might have to go back this weekend and ask the boss to have a look at it instead of the machai.
*
actually i dont understand your fault description. disc facing out?. can be skewer loose, caliper senget, frame bengkok, hub koyak if you have already replaced the disc.

How much is this book?
Now at least i have an idea of what the price range is. smile.gif Aiyaa rm100 thing but you try fit in 5k inside your wallet open for them to see, terus be nice introduce you stuff for you to buy.  whistling.gif
Guess i didnt explain properly.  unsure.gif  I go on road halfway masuk kelapa sawit plantation, where to find station to change tires?  laugh.gif Even if urban i still jump, go through any patch of non tar surface i can find. If use 100% slicks for on road use, confirm cannot survive  sweat.gif

go buy wire casing tyreslah. Crossmarks /sb8 are your best bet.get at least 2.1.cant remember if they have 2.3 Should be 50 a piece i think. Nevegals as well.maxxiss run smaller but recent nevegals looked like they shrunk as well

Thanks for the info bro. Apprecited it.
I might consider trek Fuel Ex
Why you choose Santa Cruz Blur instead of Superlight?
Hope this weekend can go test Trek
*
where do you ride? are you brand concious? on a budget? superlight is not going to cut it. trance is about one of the best bikes you can get out there. if not go for sclt for the vpp linkage.

26 / 29er almost same.29er rolls better. that is just about it on a 29er.

I'm Penang mainland. Everyday Tuesday and Thursday after work. Me and friends will meet up for ride. A lil bit on road and off road. Climb alot and down too. Saturday is the best. We ride on day time on bukit mertajam hill. I like Santa Cruz brand. Look humble the bike. Haha. Not much fancy fancy sticker around. But if I choose Blur. I guess my Fox float not able to transfer. SC SL frame rm 3500. Can transfer everything from my old Fuji Tahoe bike. Maybe a wait awhile to forge out more budget. But gotta test ride first. What bike you riding bro?
*
Oh like that.Try an anthem ,blur xc or trance. Blur xc may not fit in your budget.1 1/8steerer tube needs to be long enough to transfer to your new frame.only reducer is required if the frames are tapered headset.

Had my 3rd ride this morning, w a novice gang of 6.
Good ride as doing abt 10km. Much better than earlier 2 rides which only one loop n nasi lemak next. Today also not feel so tired after the ride.

One fella fren fell, on a very very flat track... He din wanna explain but I guess must be taking pic to FB.

Saw few other groups of riders.... Not sure if they manage to get out before the rain.
