Just enjoy the ride, whether is 100mm or 203mm. Every bikes had it limitation whether it's a simple hard tail or DH rig. IMHO, upgrade the skill is more important than just keep on upgrading the bike.

I crash twice on same spot in beginning of 2K with my 100mm hard tail ride. It fears the shit out of me in the beginning everytime I reach that place, but then after a few ride, I just tell myself find a better line and ride it on!

Pro also comes from beginner, they need to crash first before they become pro. Have you seen any pro that haven't crash before?

Ask them I believe they will share their experience with you how they started and all the funny story.

My 2 Cent. Enjoy the ride!

P/S: I am not a pro here, in fact I push my bike half of the time in Kiara when I got no balls to take it. tongue.gif

Ppl give opinion... u bamboo ppl. Somore u are the one who asked in the first place.

If think u don't need the travel... just go ahead. No need bamboo here and there.

For me... my bike can go competition. Do I join competition? Am I a pro? Do I jump like superman?
Na... I can't even ride on flat surfaces. I fell many times on flat road... until helmet also pecah.

But who cares... I bought it coz I can.
You can?

enough about suspensions. the old school riders rides 3" travel for downhill and uses modified roadbikes with stiff fork for trail riding.

who are we to complain right?

want to ask...is kiara trail(aggresive downhill not include)can maximize 160 travel function?i ride 140mm travel but i seen many 160mm....is a trend ka,kiasu ka,want bling bling ka....or really really nid 160mm fork for certain DROP?
*
You jeles ka? Joking joking....160 for fun factor la...and yes it does make a difference going down. Equipment helps alot unless you are one of the very skillful riders that blasts down on a hardtail with 100mm faster than a downhiller

Having said so,140mm in Kiara perfect in my opinion for an all rounded fun rig.
