Hi all,

Need some clarification on what fork to upgrade. Thinking of buying a second hand fox float 100mm( which is around 1.5k, i guess) , would that comparable to rock shox sid?

Also, is the fork contributes much weight on the bike? Bcuz my bike feels kinda heavy. I'm running on xtc frame, deore grpset, suntour xcm, and cap ayam handlebar, seatbar and pedals.

So, before upgrading, i would like to know which upgrade is more appropriate. ie: fork upgrade v carbon handle/seatbar.

My usual cycle is uphill and a bit of downhill(on rocky surface mostly).

Your answers is much appreciated smile.gif

Cheers

First, u might need to check your wheel set can fit in with your fork or not. Then only you think of others, coz most fox fork using different quick releases. Correct me if I'm wrong.

quick release is the same across the brand la

if your wheel uses QR then just make sure it is a QR fork.. f100 most are QR..
other standards are QR15mm and 20mm.

Ppl just mentioned he is using Suntour XCM.

My opinion? Get a new SID.
Or best... save a bit more, get a FOX.
Buying 2nd hand fork, unless u know the condition... or else, why would ppl change Fox in the first place.
If the reason is because I want KAshima... then possible...

He! He! He
