QUOTE(RyanHo @ Apr 2 2012, 02:02 PM) kenny dalgish left the tech area which would resulted to cause more problems. gerrard doesnt mean to be disrepectful. ur thoughts overwhelmed u. Added on April 2, 2012, 2:05 pmwhy are u trying to exaggerate it? from wad i saw is just taking it off. The TV only showed the taking off part.He threw it onto the floor as well. The last thing i will do is exaggerate to make things worse in this already turbulent time for the club. Does anyone notice that skrtel is becoming average since agger went out injured? I hope we have back glen or kelly for this week match against villa. Btw guys,FSG are calling up Kenny, comolli and steve clarke to explain our current league form. I trust these FSG guys because they are not easily swayed by sentiments. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...y-Dalglish.htmlThis post has been edited by Rotuham: Apr 3 2012, 05:50 PM

QUOTE(Adryan @ Apr 3 2012, 07:46 PM) Yeah. Ever since Carragher came back to partner him, Skrtel has been having a nightmare. I think alot of the slump came from the loss of Lucas and Agger. Suarez missing 9 games doesn't help either. I mean, by March everything was in a mess. One thing I'm quite worried of is the fact that we've only won one game in the last 10 matches Steven Gerrard has started. Chasing down the balls from all corners is one thing but it's the mentality and hunger to win we've been lacking. what's your opinion on the article link that i posted? Well we have not won in almost all of the games that agger has missed.I think's it's more to do with agger this season than gerrard. This post has been edited by Rotuham: Apr 3 2012, 08:47 PM

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Apr 4 2012, 11:21 AM) I'll keep this short because I'll just be repeating myself. King Kenny's vision is to build a team who will one day challenge for the premiership, I believe that he and John Henry have always been consistent with this. It is the reason why older statesmen earning high salaries were replaced by younger players with the potential to yield higher returns in future should they develop to be Premiership stars. Yes the operative word here is "should". I said earlier that investing in young players will always come with risks but as the saying goes, "you risk nothing, you get nothing". A "vision" is long term. How is 3 quarters of a season, long term? How is having the team play a completely different brand of football from Roy Hodgson, not a sign that he is attempting to realise his vision? So Mr.Duke Red,what do you expect in this summer window?

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Apr 4 2012, 07:12 PM) I disagree playing Suarez down the flank. Lucas and Adam is a no-no pairing for me, it just doesn't work with Lucas marshalling the back 4 and Adam in the same space. he needs to be pushed up front slightly. Thinking about it,i don't want adam anywhere near the starting 11.

I am not sure if this is the right time to bring it up,but do you guys think it's for carragher to hang up his boots at the end of the season?
He is on 100k per week and i don't think it's financially feasible to pay your subs that kind of money.Thoughts?

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Apr 5 2012, 11:05 PM) Carra plays with heart and conviction but there's a limit of how far the conviction and heart can take him on the pitch. Regardless, he's already a legend so yea...to asnwer your question, i will play Coates more if im the coach. Not everyone can play like Sami Hyppia. I thought we missed out on a great defender in gary cahill. He would have added depth to our injury prone defence. Perhaps the club's plan is to move kelly to centre back which i would welcome. So the consensus here is to give kenny one more season or sack him at the end of this season?

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Apr 8 2012, 09:14 PM) News had it that Carrol and Kenny had an outburst and the former is heading the exit this summer. Well,it's a pity then. Our opinions aside,do you think FSG will the pull the plug on kenny's reign if we fail to win the fa cup?

Some ITK on lfc forum said kenny will step down at the end of the season if we fail to win FA cup and finish below everton. Added on April 10, 2012, 8:09 amQUOTE(Adryan @ Apr 10 2012, 05:24 AM) Barcelona is Barcelona they are from a different planet!! They only compete with a few teams for La Liga and Spanish domestic titles. We've got to compete with Man City, Man United and Chelsea who can spend! Plus Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle now. They did go trophyless for 4 years between 5 managers (see, changing of managers). And Rijkaard won his first title in his second season (time given). Anyways, the current Barcelona squad consists of a manager who played under the system revamped by then manager, Johan Cruyff and players who grew up playing in the la masia academy revamped by Cruyff so basically they've got a manager and the players all playing in the same way practically their whole life. Same can't be said about us. Yes, he 'built' the current squad but it is never going to be a walk in a park when you put in four or five new players in the team at once and hope they win titles. He's had to get rid of alot of deadwood players - Konchesky, Cole, Poulsen, El Zhar, Degen and such.I rather have those deadwood than the current deadwood. They didn't cost us 100million and high weekly wages. QUOTE(Adryan @ Apr 10 2012, 08:21 AM) Same .. i thought we would have beaten Swansea, Norwich, Arsenal and more? Well, Joe Cole was free but he was 90k per week. I don't think any of the new recruits are close to 90k. But if you rather have those deadwood than the current deadwood, our squad will never improve. It will be a whole lot better if we bought quality and have the current deadwoods as ... squad players. Expensive, yes, but United has Carrick, Berbatov, Anderson who just three together cost maybe 70 million on the bench at times. My point was if we were going to continue the deadwood trend then why spend millions on it?By your admittance that currently there is deadwood, where is the improvement? Can i ask what is your definition of improvement? Let's not bring in united players, they can afford deadwood because they have a winning mentality and a team with fantastic chemistry.

QUOTE(rickk @ Apr 10 2012, 02:16 PM) Again, hv faith pal, have faith!! YNWA! haha Faith can help you when you are down at istanbul at half time or in a penalty shoot out.But faith can't help you for a full season when lack of quality is apparent and poor tactics is employed time and time again. Anyway, united fans a.k.a bandwagoners are back at doing what they do best- talk shit about liverpool This post has been edited by Rotuham: Apr 10 2012, 02:38 PM
