QUOTE(Devil4life @ Mar 18 2014, 05:59 PM) But I think in regardless whether you have negative or positive funds in your CC, as long you withdraw money from it, it's consider cash advance and will incur the cash advance fees and interest. If we have a positive funds in CC Withdrawal fees, yes. Interest? I think, no. Because, you are not owing any money to the bank, so I don't think any interest would be levied. Technically, the bank owes you the money. negative funds in CC, then both withdrawal fees and interest would apply.

direct experience of withdrawing balance from CC, no. and i believe like other mention, cash advance fees will be levied. Indirect experience, yes.
MBB - I have two cards, I managed to transfer the extra paid amount of money from one of my card to other to offset the outstanding. OCBC - exceeded payment was sent to my MBB SA via GIRO when I cancel the card. And if i recall correctly, even without cancelling the card, they can transfer any exceeded payment to OCBC SA too.

Thx for all the info. Am now calculating whether it's worth to do so. Will call bank tmrw and see if they can waive the withdrawal fees.

It should be settled AEON CC with cheque and it took additional day. Or else it should be less than 10 days for IBG.

QUOTE(sms2u @ Mar 23 2014, 09:32 AM) Whn public bank offer balance transfer 0% for 12 months? There is still promotion for balance transfer 0% for 6 months Previously 12 months BT was offered by Public Bank at 0%. But the amount must be more than 3k (I think, can't remember the exact amount). Only recently PB has withdrawn that. This post has been edited by Mr Gray: Mar 23 2014, 09:52 AM
