why bother with ocbc. Bank Islam 1% fee only for 12month BT. Public Bank 0% for new CC holder.

I also rejected by HL bank last few month(first time being reject for CC application), after that my fren appeal and it approved.
I also have good spending pattern, never pay single cent for interest, have 2 house loan, 1 car loan.
I think it might be due to I am having too many credit cards, total credit limit is huge amount, that y reject or what.
I think maybe you try to lower down your credit limit in others credit card then it should be ok.

anyway, i have said many times, the post #1 is a guideline and I don't call every single bank every week or month to check what's the latest

if i found out something is already outdated myself because i deal with that bank, i will update

however, i expect the community to contribute by pointing out certain offers are invalid, i will verified and update if that is true

you can check previous post, i always update when someone commented out of date and i verified

My MBB and OCBC Balance Transfer to AEON timeline.

17 Oct - Submitted BT form to AEON in the afternoon via email. Then received verification call in the evening.
18 Oct - Received approval SMS. Transaction appeared in AEON online banking.
25 Oct - OCBC account updated with payment from AEON by cheque.
29 Oct - MBB account updated with payment from AEON by cheque.

RHB Islamic 0% for 6 months, 1% for 9 months. ONLY for RHB Islamic Credit Card holder, not conventional.

Sorry i need to re-phase, my Alliance CC was BT to Aeon.

Had done a few for Maybank CC BT to Aeon, the payment received can be 3-5 days more than other bank CC.

According to RHB website, http://www.rhb.com.my/islamic_banking/cards/cc_main.html :

"Enjoy 0% for 6 months or 1% for 9 Months Instalment Payment for Balance Transfer (Smart Move) Program with RHB Islamic Credit Card-i. Limited time ONLY from 15 October 2013 to 15 January 2014"

So you get the promotion date there.

btw, the standard charted rate you mention is for new cc holder only. existing is 5.99% per year.

In my case, MBB actually took extra 2 working days to credit compare to OCBC. 4 days in the timeline because of weekend.
