the problem is if u get their credit card, there is a contract period which is 3 years.

This is a very good BT from Bank Islam... After 6 months just need to transfer the balance to another bank and transfer back to Bank Islam...you will get another 6 month 0% interest

this morning... SCB called me.
There is an offer for BT 1.99 p.a. for 6 months.
anyone of you apply before?

5% on retail spending still need

just that for bt, they don't put that monthly repayment as part of the monthly statement

i think 3 yrs contract is ok.
annual fees can be waived with 12 tranx/year.
govt tax can be offset with the cash rebate with online application RM150.

then...the card holder can enjoy the 0% BT liao... which i think is the most interesting part of this CC.

hope my assumption above is correct. anyone has used this card before and BT application?

Can non-Muslim actually apply for Bank Islam card in the first place... Other races may not be "halal".

i'm really interested to find out an actual case where no payment is needed till last day of expiry (6 months). any one can confirm this?

this is better than what cimb offered last year, 5% min payment each month.
