i think 3 yrs contract is ok.
annual fees can be waived with 12 tranx/year.
govt tax can be offset with the cash rebate with online application RM150.

then...the card holder can enjoy the 0% BT liao... which i think is the most interesting part of this CC.

hope my assumption above is correct. anyone has used this card before and BT application?

i'm really interested to find out an actual case where no payment is needed till last day of expiry (6 months). any one can confirm this?

this is better than what cimb offered last year, 5% min payment each month.

I've emailed Bank Islam Customer Service...very prompt response within 2 hours.

Bank Islam's 0% 6-month BT program will need to pay 5% minimum for month #1 to #5, followed by full payment on month #6
*
so , this is exactly the same as what CIMB BT offered last year.

for SCB 1.99% interest/yr, BT (as per page 1), it's not limited to new application as i got this BT approved although i have been using the CC for almost 1 year.
maybe it means 'new application to this BT program'?

hi bro,

i double confirm with their cs. it is for new customer

maybe officially it is for new customer but in actual practice to retain existing customer, they offer on case to case basis

i don't know
*
Well, maybe the CS refer to "new CC card holder to this BT program". As i said i hv been the card holder for almost 1year.and i just got this BT few days ago. Those who r interested, u can try to call SCB to find out.

tried standard chartered today. 1.99%/year is for new card member.  current member is higher, however i still apply and insist on 1.99% since 1 LYN member got it. see how

Hong Leong 6.99%/year is for not valid for my EON Matta Card. There is a listed number of cards valid for this promotion. Need to wait for June after they do another round of system update since their bank just merge.
*
Yes,i ve got d 1.99% per year fr scb. Hope u get it too. Just checked, my scb cc was approved july last year.

how to get 1.99% for scb balance transfer?
any term and cond?
*
Since there is some discrepancy of the requirement for the applicant, I'd recommend you to call CS to confirm.
For my case, i'm an 'old' customer who got this offer. Some of the forumers said this is just for new application only. Pls find out from CS.

as for the Term and condition. i copy and paste here. see below spoiler

Why not? They should accept BT from most of the banks in Malaysia..
*
ok. coz the HongLeong account is already a "BT account". thanks.

You can try it and let us know whether this workable or not. No harm trying... biggrin.gif

that's the main 'motivation' to apply for this AEON card.... the purpose is to transfer the BT plus account to AEON After Cash withdrawal from the BT Plus HLB.
