QUOTE(mat79 @ Apr 7 2012, 01:32 PM) sorry, off topic. I think somebody will attack me afterwards :-). Just share my thought, after reading on elantra topic, i realise that how easier malaysian see wonderful things that comes from others than in proton. For example, recently being a topic of discussion that elantra has something that forte dont have, flick the signal once, and its blink trice. Easier for short overtaking. +1.Wow, really a useful n cool feature rite. But do they know this feature(actually not really new in autonotive industry)already embended in proton exora under body control module function (bcm), n people will be suprise if many of advance functions in elantra already in bcm and there are a lot of offering under bcm. Even baseline exora has that feature. Yup, grass always look greener on the other side. No offence, just sharing thoughts. I went to show room to c the new elantra, the SA told me when u switch off the light, it will maintain 30Secs then only off. Good at nite when u come back.... EM... in my heart, EXORA got this yrs ago. |

That's where Proton marketing fails I guess, the SAs are too shy to brag about their product

When it comes to Proton, people will find the 'kekurangan' first. Not the feature it have. Kalau brand lain, they look for the features offered, and compare yg ni kt proton mane ade.Modesty maa. |

In our eyes, we are not as good as mat salleh/Japenese or Korean. We always look thing in negative way when it come to Malaysian product. Don't know why. Maybe Malaysian naturally born to praise others. Proton not in position that we can proud of yet but with right support, it got potential. This post has been edited by -cmi-: Apr 7 2012, 02:15 PM |

All the features mentioned here, have been done by Mercedes more than 10 years ago. Initially, I though japanese is quicker to introduce advance feature and how wrong was I.
The follow me home light The quick tap on signal The auto steering adjustment The memory seat The parktronic The auto power window using remote The ambient light and so many other features were there in mercedes 10 years ago. one feature I like the most on the mercedes car is wind down the window before entering the car by remote.... Its very useful in hot weather country like Malaysia. Btw, I'm planning to trade in my E240 (W211) for Proton Preve..... |

QUOTE(-cmi- @ Apr 7 2012, 02:13 PM) That's where Malaysian need to change their mindset. Specifically for proton, now they need to repair back their image, which was trampled down by their own history. they brought it down themselves, now is their own to bring it up again.i fully support if it is coming out with good products n improving. not with the same model for another 20 yrs which intention is to earn for own pocket from the poor rakyatWe need to be more confident with ourself.
