yea it look liked civic or city steering   hmm.gif

Or Insect steering. They look the same.

On a side note, the interior looks nice. Nothing earth shattering but not appaling either. Although Potong needs to stop using that hedious faux wood trim already. Matte brushed aluminium look is better IMHO.

Holy fucuk. The revised ass actually looks... OK. Bravo Potong for not totally messing up the design.

Not so bravo for taking so long to launch it, I had to buy something else edi because I didn't have the luxury of waiting.

But for everybody else, enjoy your hot new rides!

@Fuja: That actually looks ok to me wor. Conti feel a bit. That bar under the lights could be thrown away though, kacau oni.

The white "pre-production model" design actually drove me away from the P3. It was fugly.

some say ok, some say not ok..  just like inspira/lancer back, not many people like it.  It's imposible to satisfy all.
*
At least this new ones doesn't have the mis-aligned lights like the on the "leaked" white car. IMHO it's not stunning, but more than OK.

Of course I like mine more, but as you said, you can't please everyone.

@Jetpacker: Glad to see they learned a few tricks from Mitsu (paddle shift w/o going to +-), trust me it's a Godsend.

@Fuja: Give it a few months. Prevelutions will be all over Malaysia by then.

Hey, Proton should make a preve spelling competition, who spell correctly win another six month free services.

Anyway, about the P322A.. is it a hothatch? or just four door hatchback?
*
It's an aeroback (5 door hatchback) version for sure. Proton likes those. Malaysians seem to like em too.

Hopefully they redo the back side of the hatch, and make an R3 version with AWD. Yum.

or vauxhall astra..  not sure the intension of this car cruising with P3-21A back then, other than the purpose of hatcback version of Preve.
*
Benchmarking. Proton does a lot of that.

But DAT CAR. Sell it to me Potong.

VT3 is punch's latest and newest GB
if they want a better CVT which can handle more torque, they're gonna have to use mitsu's CVT(which is what they dn't want)
*
Our F1CJA can't go that far either. And it's actually Nissan's not Mitsu's.

VT3 max torque load is 220Nm @ 2500 rpm. Hence the 205Nm @ 2,000-4,000 rpm of the CFE.

Ah. Thanks. Gave up following news about the FreeWei when they gave up on the ooooold March launch window --> forcing me to get my current half-Jap waifu.

So, no upgraded boost Prevelution then? Nanti blow GB.

The MANUAL Preve will rock though.

Lemme rephrase that. The Manual R3 Preve with CFE.

Not that I can drive manual worth shiat, if I could I wouldn't be in the "NO MOD" club to begin with.

Agreed, keep the /k/-ness in the Lynspira thread where it belongs lol.

And about cucuking Preve, I at least won't do it from a dead stop because I know I'm screwed tork wise. Start from 130 maybe have a chance lar.

now even 2.0 is scared of preve at traffic light. need 2.4 at least at dead stop.
*
NA wise maybe a 3.0 would be more comfortable. But you can only have so much tork going to the front wheels before everything turns into a smoke filled wheelspin of madness.

Especially considering not everyone has a proper LSD.

Oh well, see to believe...but I would not think that preve can smoke 1.8 inspira..

Preve: 205nm@2k rpm.

My 2.0 Rara: 197nm@4k rpm.

On paper, I'm toast if we're talking 0-60km/h (or maybe even 0-100). 1.8 even more lah, unless modded.

But as you guys said, we'll have to see it in action first.

your 2.0 rara is 65 Kg lighter than cfe preeve. kerb weight will bring into effect also when comparing cars.

65 kg is the weight of one person already.
*
Hmm, forgot to do torque to weight.

But leaked specs show Preve 1330 vs Rara 1335 lah. Did the Preve grow a belly?
