not sure abt durability
but i prefer water repellent seat rather than leather
not sure why ppl prefer leather
its slippery, it absorbs heats, it has to be taken care of
even my friend sit in leather seats and dislike it

i got used to leather seats, had drove cefiro and camry before.

the water repellent seem to be good especially during raining when u need to get off/on the car.

A good tints would solve that. Its just leather is a bit fussy and need a constant care.

For me leather seats gave the extra comfort the fabric doesn't provide. Plus fabric trap dust... make the interior rather dusty.

In a car that opt for leather seat covers I might agree there's slide effect.

But fortunately most cars I've driven, its leather seats is body-hugging and so far haven't experience much roll even during cornering.

Good handling will not defy the law of physics lah.

You whack a corner at 90kph, the car has minimum roll, tire still gripping firmly, but you, the driver, will still be subjected to the effects of the inertia.
