yours can last till 24 hours?
within 15 minutes, my battery drop to 75%, with just browsing the settings, no 3G or Wifi connected >.<

wow..yeah mine can lasted 24 hours..on wifi only..playing games such as perfect kick..i update the rom then full wipe the phone..

uhh... i assume you flashed CM10 rc1? the latest release of CM10.1 is only alpha 6 stage. I am pretty sure that your phone won't be able to stay for so long if you are on CM10.1 ( the battery drain is really scary.)

yah..that the 1..rc1.. 24 hours is good enuff for me.... as long as its stable and no lag, then im fine with it..

i has problem with my samsung galaxy w that it keeps beeping & showing MTP initialization Media scanner running USB storage and can be turn on only with either the charger or the usb cable connected. even i already do the factory reset and still same problem occur....

why is it when i surf using 3g battery temp reach 42-45deg while on wifi its only 37-40deg?

the same problem happened to my galaxy W. what i did is, i used a needle or something which is small enough to fit the phone charger slot then adjust the small metal bar in it. then the problem disappear.

this is normal as 3g signal will more unstable comparing to wifi. So maintaining the signal will drain your battery faster and make your phone hot.

hi just wondering if anyone have the same problem
im currently using CM10.1 (just upgraded from CM9 hours ago)
the problem is when i toggle the wifi to on, it will show turning wifi on and goes back to off after sometime
or either i cant even toggle the wifi to on,it stays at off
this problem is present few days ago when i am still on CM9
i thought firmware is the problem so i upgraded to CM10.1 but apparently its not.did all the steps correctly

google around and some says might be driver problem,hardware problem,motherboard broke,etc

which firmware that you flashed?last time I using cm10.1 create by arco, quiet stable as far as I know no problem.
Try use cm9 the last release from arco,great battery life and performance too.

before i flash CM10.1 june 2013 version, i was using cm9 november version.the problem starts when im using cm9 and not after i update to CM10.1

try flash stock rom via odin and see if the problem still persist.

Try sunglobal battery, the capacity is higher than stock battery.

maybe the release that you flash still got bug that maybe causing the problem.you can try find the latest release, try flash it and see if still happen.if not,back to stock rom is the best option.

i am sorry...asking this noob question for my friend. Cause I have no time to do research as galaxy w have tons of mod firmware.

My friend complaining his phone very slow. He is using latest firmware from samsung.

Anyone can suggest what's the best firmware now for this phone and how to go about updating to this firmware? Cause I read that 2.3.6 cannot be rooted easily to install CWM. So he have to Odin to 2.3.5 then root then CWM then only install some modded rom?

Last time what I did, I just install the CWM via Odin if not mistake. Then,after the installed the CWM, I flashed the custom rom and by following the step provided.
By the way before install the CWM,my version is 2.3.6.

CWM via odin?? Hmm...can provide a link for this?

Also, what custom rom do you recommend?
