About the price at lowyat. I think ok. 16GB Class 10 can get for around 55 to 59 at lowyat. 16GB Sandisk Mobile ultra can get for 52 at lowyat. Class 4 then sandisk and kingston about same price. 35~37 at lowyat.

Kernel normally deal with the cpu speed and voltages as far as what I know. Cow's kernel do undervolt and the oc kernel allows overclocking to 1.8GHz. A lot more can be adjusted in kernel but I don't know. Lazy do research

There're few choices in garage sale. One of them is Sunglobal. 1850mAh. Lazy to dig it out. Look for it in garage sales. Quality, not very sure. I only got one sunglobal for my Nokia N82. That one is good. But later I helped my friend to buy one, he said not good.

LOL... N82 ori is 1050... Sunglobal is 1800. Even low quality pun sure last longer used for two years, no prob at all. But that's not W. Nt much comment.

Just root it using recovery method. Tested. Confirmed working. I didn't even bother to backup.

If you got budget for s advance, go for s advance. But I can't assure you anything on the development. W at least got a team working on CM9 ICS and other roms. Advance looks like having no love from devs.
Stock experience, forget about W, go straight for S advance. Dual core is no way behind Single core, UI smoothness and RAM available etc etc. If you'll just be using it on Stock, get S advance!

Which method? Rooting through recovery? Definitely works. I did it thrice.

1) Impossible to log out. It's designed so for safety purpose.
2) In total W has 4GB built in. User accessible is 1.7GB then 1.07GB device memory and some others not sure where they are I think is allocated to ROM. Basically device memory holds your installed apps file (main file/folders). If the app requires external data/user data, normally saved in usb storage. Some games requiring game data then is normally downloaded to USB Storage. You can choose to move your apps to SD card which brings the main installed files/folders to SD card. Game data, depending on the game programming, may stay in your USB Storage despite that you've moved the main application to SD card. For large game data, you can do memory swap or patch the game apk to set the location of game data in external sd.
I think this answered also your no. 3. Yes, you only have 1.07GB to store apps you're downloading. Else, move them to SD card. This doesn't apply to game data. Game data sometimes just stuck in USB Storage. Your idea of 3 layer memory is right. Some phones have only 2 layer which basically is the device memory and SD card. All data in SD card. All apps in device memory.

4) If it's ticked (the box beside the name), then it's in SD card. If it's not ticked then it's in Device Memory.

5) Not sure about this. I think is in device memory or usb storage. Removing SD card you'll still see them. Use sms backup and restore to backup sms.

6) You have the same contact in your SIM Card? If you have a copy of ALL your contacts in your sim card, you can choose to delete all contacts. BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL YOUR CONTACTS BACKUP OR IN YOUR SIM CARD. After that do the sync again. You can also dig into settings and check something about show contacts with phone numbers only. If you've synced other accounts like twitter and facebook, these contacts will probably also appear in your 'Contacts'. With G icon means it's on your Google account.

You mean nexus? What I can say is... My first charge, 100% to 7% before I charge it, it went through 4hours 11mins screen on time. The GPS in this can totally throw W in shame. With W, even with AGPS sometimes I take 1minute to lock or even won't lock at all(got signal, just die die don't want lock). This one... Data off, GPS alone can easily beat W. The battery life of this one is better than W too IMO. Not sure on data yet coz I'm at home, most of the time use wifi. Played games, download, updates etc... 4hours screen on, I never get such long on W.
