F42 and 56 only can get 2nd hand or old stock

F43 and F58 is the current marketed model.

if u wan find 2nd hand, a lot ppl will tell u F42 and 56 is not worth it, unless its dirt price or 2nd flash.

for 1st unit of flash (main flash) get the F43 or F58 for the full features.

rah: I like the 3rd the most myself. the lower left side wall started the leading line which was out of the focused plane, giving a feel of depth. but again, there's no right or wrong oso.

today went to the photography equipment city in Beijing, and I saw a A77 with the 16-50SSM in a second hand shop!! @@ A77 body cost around 7600rmb, cant see the tag of the lens though, saw 2 of the lens which were in my wishlist but i cant afford. T.T Those who wanna try hassleblad can go over there and have a nice day shopping.

anyway, who own a A-m4/3 adapter? how much did you all get it for?

anyway, the leica girl i saw at the great wall...

Hey brothers,

Sony NEX 5N twin kit lenses- RM 2215 too good to be true? I've surveyed on this camera in a shop @penang and he quoted me this price...

I need to wait for 2 weeks though due to no stock...

Anybody bought this camera as cheap*? Plz advice sifu...

p/s: it's VERY cheap for me for NEX 5ND for RM 2215.. I'm just concern because other shop sells as high as RM2250 for single lens..

Hi Guys
Is it worth to replace an old 3 years A700 with A57...?
A65 & A77 is way out of budget...
I think I need a video features now together with high ISO...

Instead of A57, which model has below features :-
QUOTE
Multi-frame NR
Experience incredible low-light shooting without a flash. The camera captures six images in a fraction of a second. Combining the data from all six, it creates a single image with a reduction in noise equivalent to two additional steps of ISO sensitivity. Sensitivity selectable up to ISO 25600.

Any sample image taken with multi-frame NR...?

The difference between A57 and A65 is only a lil lil lil bit only. Might as well get the A65? 24mp sensor!

A700 was a semi pro model, Can you get used to the normal model?

Not easy to have a transition down to a normal model.

Most of my old A700 users went to A77 because they can't live without the ergonomics.

rah@: there is too much negative space on the mid lower right side (the tree and slope). it disturbs the harmony of the picture... that why. the left side wall of china is too left, and leaving negative space on the right, having improper composition. the shape i drew, is directly drew on the picture itself, that is the shape it has taken, when u able to throw away all other element and leaving only shape, that is when u see the real whole composition ppl been talking bout 'why your pic lack compo'

but again, there is no right or wrong in photography, just getting the best angle smile.gif

@ieR Yes, I stongly agree that separting the components is crutial to master the skills on that specific component. I will try to use your idea to improve my composition.

@ieR @shotkk @edybeh Thank you.

Can't find the difference??!! Why all the specs are almost the same for F42 & F43 except for the most important fact that F43 has got the COBRA ACTION !!!!!

If you are comparing the F56 and the F58 then forget the F56 and get the F58. It will be worth the extra money just for the COBRA ACTION alone!!! Trust me. Once you go cobra, there is no going back!

If you do not know what cobra action means, go see the picture in this link:

Cobra action

It may not look like much but it's one heck of a useful feature.

the COBRA ACTION really a WOW

wanna ask this to the flash user......wondering if the sony f58 flash can be triggered optically and rf wirelessly?? meaning like this

f58 -->hooked on the syk-9 optical trigger device -->on top of the phottix strato

camera 1 with phottix strato transmitter --> can this person trigger the flash??

camera 2 with flash (to trigger via optically) --> can this person trigger the flash??

i was hoping that 2 person from diff camera brand can trigger the flash universally... any opinions??

If 2 users using different brands, why not just use the optical trigger and put the rf away? Stacking one on top of the other does not guarantee anything will work. Just hook the F58 onto an optical trigger and use pop-up flash. Keep it simple.

The sky9 is optical trigger? Or normal adapter? Wait I google....

Google return Japan airline result, lol.

Anyway, if the syk9 is normal adapter, it won't have a hole to allow the switch on the flash allow the flash to go wl mode, so the Sony wl system (trigger via pop up flash) will not work. However, u can cut the s.all hole on the adapter to trick the flash to go WL mode and also trigger it via rf.

If, the syk9 is optical trigger, yes it can allow both camera to use them.
