Is it the 500mm f8 reflex?It has a metal mount and too long to be a short prime.

The tamron is quite a good lens but do note that the barrel distortion at 17mm is quite bad.

Yealo shootkk.. that's why i until now only got tamron 17-50 f2.8... even though i may be able to afford a 35mm f1.8/50mm f1.8..

people ask me why i don't buy its because i feel that i wouldn't utilise it that often...and if it's going to lie in the dry box so often what's the point?

end of line is.. save money buy a99!!!!!!!! tongue.gif

The built in flash does a good work by not over exposing her face. just nice. Soft skin mode works well too. PnS can do portraits too! tongue.gif

I wish i had a NEX or m43 though. Could have gotten much much better details sad.gif ISO1600 is more than enough from the place i am standing.
