up to now, Banax armis is still pretty strong.. smile.gif

Vinny has one and have undergone the torment like hard trashes, fresh and salt water too...

it's still in great working condition.. smile.gif

Okuma is moving up to the standards of Shimano and daiwas..if you notice the price is quite competetive too....Search for Okuma VS200...low profile and pretty good system + bearings.. smile.gif

Another coming up star is the Korean Bando+Banax. They are moving pretty fast too. For example Banax Starion, it's being reviewed in one of the jigging trip organised by TCE and still up to mark for the hard trash. smile.gif

Well, it's my observation la...however, your preferred branding is in your decision. smile.gif

Bro KK, remember i broke a rod while casting at Tg Harapan with you??? It's the same rod....hahahaa....(BTW, you free this sat?? wanna pop by and collect some S rod)

some of the rod is having very thin wall..in such, if a minor dent, it may cause a broken rod.. smile.gif

Handle with care.

Bro Tat, Cacing gila can get in kepong, uBob's place and quite a number of place lar. But the stocks are kinda limited now.

The cacing are fat and juicy, said being breed in optimal condition so it's having loads of protein. Also in the package it did guide you how to hook the cacing so that it doesnt kills them.

A great project by Arnold, Lord of The Morning. smile.gif

Bro Tat, it's more to how you handle the rod lor....prevent knicks and dents and simply placing your rod. Nowadays the rods are made in high modulus material, in such that it is lighter than those days.

Bro KK,

Didnt managed to get to Yan as the schedule is tight for me.

However i managed to go to Bedong Angling Park on Saturday, and on Sunday i got an invitation to test power with the Steroid Siakap....

Largest specimen is about 5~6kg, but the power~...fuhhhh...doesnt seems like 5~6kg siakap at all.

Imagine a PE2~4 Shimano Jigrex bended fully...........

Setup,
6~8lb drag setting, 30~50lb main line, 80lb leader, lure: spoon with 11/0 hooks

and still occured line putus at leader(due to abrasion), mustad circle hook patah, 60lb split ring pulled straight....

will be back there soon.. smile.gif
