My response is to your 'deal with it' query. Like I have pointed out, there is a proper channel to handle the problem. It is not a problem that they created. It will be a problem if there is no limit in capacity.
*
I'm not saying to unlimited the capacity, like I said before, they increased capacity on request, which means they have something like ethical limit and hard limit per class, why not just increase to hard limit?

hahaha yupp and i wish i went back to Uni each day, sigh i have spoken and i am awaiting for replies, speak wisely and think carefully, constructive ideas and suggestion is much appreciated, etc a new building beside Emerald Park (melaka campus) to house the Law School and Library, to develop the land in front of the Swimming Pool  in cyberjaya campus to house a state of the art CG & AI & Motion Capture development center, when you have more facilities then you can have more classes

we definitely need 'thinking' students. there are issues worth fighting for and in proper manner.

how would the faculty know there will be extra students that want to register? take note that there are so many subjects with offered each trimester, 40-50 for different levels and programmes per faculty. Increasing to the so called hard limit may cause waste of resources later on.

First of all, epsilon and delta students are given priority to register. Always. If you are suppose to register for that subject and it is full, you can just meet the assistant manager to increase its capacity. Have you done that?

Secondly, collecting fees money. What is wrong with that?

You appeared to be venting your anger without thinking that just a simple email to the assistant manager or dean will solve your problem.

Trust me, MMU would do better without all those spoilt little kids  wink.gif

So you think we're the one who should be affect by those people who didn't follow course structure while we did so??We are the one who should tolerate with those people ?? So if they failed and happen to need to retake , we need to let them choose the time they desire while we're the one who face their consequences ?? So in MMU , student are taught if someone do something wrong , you should be the one to get into trouble

Do you think this priority to senior students is only implemented by MMU?

Texas A&M uni

Added on September 14, 2012, 6:22 pmSo basically it is not because you are unable to register the subject, but because you have to select other time slots? Not a capacity issue as previously thought.

Ok , for time being i just think there's still way to improve the system , it's a sin for people to think something is perfect and there's no need to do anything to improve , doesnt mean texas and A&M whatever uni do thsi i gotta follow them , MMU can come out with better plan that have a win win situation instead of seeing what other uni did and follow blindly

If you have these views about the university, join the student council and improve the current stiuation. Well when you are in their position how would you feel, the feel of taking supplementary, to fail in a subject no matter how hard they studied, your insensitive towards these matter shows that your world is only me,myself and i, just take things as you go and study according to the schedule. If you take more and fail more then how? Now you are in their position and now tell me how would you feel? Think deep now

Google up Texas A&M uni. Nobody say the system is perfect, but for you to come and condemn it just because you failed to register your own desired timetable is unwarranted.

Well today is my turn to register for my subjects and MMU‘s system fails yet again by saying I am a new intake student and should register under new intake. problem is they took off that button. Looks like there are many others with the same problem complaining on the fb page. Not a big deal to me I guess even though i planned my timetable already. I could just go to the office to register manually and get all the sections I want. But MMU should seriously improve their online registration.

Before you even make any complain, do note that the password is case sensitive. Please try again and you may proceed to complain if it fails again. Still, gotta blame the one who set up the system. They should have known that people are too lazy to even capitalize an alphabet rolleyes.gif

Ok. But problem is I‘m not the only one who is facing this problem. I think students who entered in June have this problem.
