For course changing process really depends on who handles the form, My friend and I managed to get the process done within 2-3days, just hella of work to get it done, few signs/approval needed, credit transfer and stuff like that, then registering subject can be pain in arse for a trimester or two because some subject have pre-requisite subject which you need take first but the subject you have to take already credit transferred but for some reason you still cant register the subject..

QUOTE(Brlala @ Mar 17 2012, 09:35 AM) OMG this will help me so mouch. I'm having my Foundation this year so it'll definitely help me alot for the next 4 years. Thank you SENIOR! I'm not sure how does registering subject in foundations works, since it's just a year I recommend just follow your group.. Degree/Diploma you're kinda free to register subject in any group.. and yes, it's possible to graduate faster if you take more subjects in a trimester.. maximum credit hours for long trimester is 24hours, while short trimester, 12hours..I'm in PE41 but can I register for classes in PE42? How does the registering subject actually works when I'm in degree? And Is it possible for me to finish my degree in 2-3 years if I take subjects more than my credit hour and manage to score them O.O Thank you for answering. |

Guys, I'm thinking about shifting my intern to after last trimester from next trimester, last trimester failed my math, had to retake
Added on March 29, 2012, 8:21 am QUOTE(noobs @ Mar 29 2012, 06:43 AM) Haha, really cant find anyone to give me an answer... So if my lab time clash with my class, what should I do? Kinda confused now.. Meet your lecturer or lab instructor, they probably will shift you into another group slot or so. Since changing schedule only allowed during Week 1.. now already Week 3This post has been edited by nymerine: Mar 29 2012, 08:21 AM |

QUOTE(noobs @ Mar 29 2012, 08:36 AM) Its kinda impossible for me to shift group i think, cuz no matter how i shift, it still gonna clash... Zzz... How bad is the clash? half time half time or full 2hours clash? My friend also got clashes in his schedule, but half half, so 1hour here, then 1hour he go other class. |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 29 2012, 10:08 AM) Depending on which faculty you are in, some may not allow you to do internship at the last trimester so you have to hceck on this first. I'm in CDP.. I assume I have to meet my AA then? Btw, I dont mean to do it on final trimester, I mean on the extended trimester after final trimester.. I have 2 trimester left, there should be no problem If I decides to add one more for intern right? |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 29 2012, 10:17 AM) there should be no problem, but it will influence which trimester you step into degree. try to look at your schedule if there are other alternatives first, if possible. I got into MMU in June 2010, then I changed my faculty to CDP and they put me into Oct 2010 intake, according to the structure, I'll finish next year January, then if I extend in the short trimester, I should be able to do my intern during the time and Ill finish around June next year, then I guess Ill continue degree for June Intake? June intake is good right? |

QUOTE(XxxNightSkyxxX @ Apr 9 2012, 01:40 AM) afaik there were some of the bus companies reduced the number of buses due to the higher operating cost.. Just wait at the bus stop, usually 3~ buses will pass the bus stop every 1hour.. can't really tell specific time but usually time like.. 2.50,3.50, 4.50 they will arrive & wait if not much people on the bus. Weekend probably the hardest days because bus damn full, like last time I waited 2 bus but they dont stop because it's packed with human.. macam sardin.but panorama bought some buses from rapid kl.. just wait for more buses? |

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Apr 15 2012, 12:16 PM) or was it because they are not happy with the rules and regulations? Like i said, should the students choose to stay at the hostel, there are rules and regulations that need to be adhered to. There were many instances that students break the rules and yet cited the rules are not fair, too strict etc. AFAIK a lot of my friends doesnt like with the rules stated by Ixora management, curfew etc. But , IMO lah, it's very convenient staying up here, everything also near and FYI internet up here using ADSL2+ , there's no high latency even you're downloading at full speed when playing game. That's why I can tolerate 8 people sharing 2mbps streamyx, still can play game without high latency. I mean, that's good isnt? I have friend staying in EP, he had 4mbps shared among 10 roommates, cannot tahan the lag when his housemate surf internet.Added on April 15, 2012, 1:42 pm QUOTE(Tenzho @ Apr 14 2012, 11:21 PM) Waa~1 month left to 27 may, I am so nervous man!! Hostel campus do have internet, 155mbps for cyberjaya and 100mbps for malacca. Do enjoy your cybertracker Leave home live hostel with stranger~ Hostel got internet connection? If no, then I must get a mobile broadband internet. Otherwise I'll bored to death. This post has been edited by nymerine: Apr 15 2012, 01:42 PM |

QUOTE(Tenzho @ Apr 15 2012, 05:55 PM) 100mbps is 100 times faster than your streamyx 1mbps. Cybertracker is a .. fun thing, during orientation they will tell you about it note : you can connect to cybertracker from Malacca campus via cybertracker.mmu.edu.my QUOTE(XxxNightSkyxxX @ Apr 15 2012, 06:35 PM) When you move into unit that already full of senior then high probability you dont have register new streamyx account, just join & pay them. Otherwise, yeah, register new or use your home's one, but only one user at a time. |

IINM RM210/month including water , electric & internet. Now open school date 6/4 is around the corner, but i havent find any accommodation. EP male apartment is fully booked and ixora apartment is almost booked too. I know that there are houses for rent nearby MMU,but i am just single and hard to find accommodation. I am not affordable for expensive rental fees, just in a range of rm200-250 including utilities bills like internet, water and electric. So guys,is there anyone that can give me advice and suggestions? Ixora RM230/month including water, electric & 128kbps internet. Nearby houses usually RM250+ excluding utilities. I dont think Ixora is fully booked, even my unit currently only 5 people residing out of 8. |

QUOTE(vk9545 @ Apr 27 2012, 10:21 PM) Lift usually broke once in 2 months, one or two, sometimes three. There's 3 lift per building but if 1 broke, you'll have to wait for your lift at for a very long time.. They also turned off the elevator during fogging session by local hospital. I've lived here for almost two years, there's no unscheduled power failure so far, there's one time during trimester break because TNB upgrading their stuff. Another pros , they have awesome anti lightning surge, don't have to bother to turn off your desktop during lightning. This post has been edited by nymerine: Apr 28 2012, 02:56 PM |
