For course changing process really depends on who handles the form, My friend and I managed to get the process done within 2-3days, just hella of work to get it done, few signs/approval needed, credit transfer and stuff like that,then registering subject can be pain in arse for a trimester or two because some subject have pre-requisite subject which you need take first but the subject you have to take already credit transferred but for some reason you still cant register the subject..

I'm not sure how does registering subject in foundations works, since it's just a year I recommend just follow your group.. Degree/Diploma you're kinda free to register subject in any group.. and yes, it's possible to graduate faster if you take more subjects in a trimester.. maximum credit hours for long trimester is 24hours, while short trimester, 12hours..

Guys, I'm thinking about shifting my intern to after last trimester from next trimester, last trimester failed my math, had to retake next trimester, I'm a no math man . There should be no problem right? If I shifted my intern?

How bad is the clash? half time half time or full 2hours clash? My friend also got clashes in his schedule, but half half, so 1hour here, then 1hour he go other class.

I'm in CDP.. I assume I have to meet my AA then? Btw, I dont mean to do it on final trimester, I mean on the extended trimester after final trimester.. I have 2 trimester left, there should be no problem If I decides to add one more for intern right?

I got into MMU in June 2010, then I changed my faculty to CDP and they put me into Oct 2010 intake, according to the structure, I'll finish next year January, then if I extend in the short trimester, I should be able to do my intern during the time and Ill finish around June next year, then I guess Ill continue degree for June Intake? June intake is good right?

Math 2 is really my weak point.. can get D also enough for me

Just wait at the bus stop, usually 3~ buses will pass the bus stop every 1hour.. can't really tell specific time but usually time like.. 2.50,3.50, 4.50 they will arrive & wait if not much people on the bus. Weekend probably the hardest days because bus damn full, like last time I waited 2 bus but they dont stop because it's packed with human.. macam sardin.

Most people will say orientation is boring etc, but it's good thing, you get to know friendly Orientation Committees, new friends, stuff around campus and things like that. Hope you will have a good time here in MMU

AFAIK a lot of my friends doesnt like with the rules stated by Ixora management, curfew etc. But , IMO lah, it's very convenient staying up here, everything also near and FYI internet up here using ADSL2+ , there's no high latency even you're downloading at full speed when playing game. That's why I can tolerate 8 people sharing 2mbps streamyx, still can play game without high latency. I mean, that's good isnt? I have friend staying in EP, he had 4mbps shared among 10 roommates, cannot tahan the lag when his housemate surf internet.

which one are you referring to? If ixora, you have to get your own streamyx account, if use ixora free internet.. then headache. Hostel? it's true.

100mbps is 100 times faster than your streamyx 1mbps. Cybertracker is a .. fun thing, during orientation they will tell you about it

note : you can connect to cybertracker from Malacca campus via cybertracker.mmu.edu.my
When you move into unit that already full of senior then high probability you dont have register new streamyx account, just join & pay them. Otherwise, yeah, register new or use your home's one, but only one user at a time.

you're barred from checking attendance and taking final, however once you paid it, you're automatically unbarred.

How about hostel then? IINM RM210/month including water , electric & internet.
Ixora RM230/month including water, electric & 128kbps internet.
Nearby houses usually RM250+ excluding utilities.

I dont think Ixora is fully booked, even my unit currently only 5 people residing out of 8.

Lift usually broke once in 2 months, one or two, sometimes three. There's 3 lift per building but if 1 broke, you'll have to wait for your lift at for a very long time.. They also turned off the elevator during fogging session by local hospital. I've lived here for almost two years, there's no unscheduled power failure so far, there's one time during trimester break because TNB upgrading their stuff. Another pros , they have awesome anti lightning surge, don't have to bother to turn off your desktop during lightning.
