Wanna ask , does cocurricular subject will be added into our cgpa??Because currently i'm taking financial planning and wealth management

I'm studying bachelor in IT major security tech , assignments differ from subject , like my Computer Programming 1 subject has 2 assignments , whereas Database System has only One assignments . Lab Works is every week once of course , and some might required you to do the work in the class , for e.g Digital System and when you completed the task the lecturer will give you marks , after that go back finish the report and pass up . As for my programming after going through the tutorial it will call you to go back and do the question provided . For my databse lecturer only go through the tutorial with us LOL , and the marks all push to assignment as presentation marks......

For quiz in subject like math or discrete structure , it will be conducted this week and next next week , the pattern always the same.


For programming and digital system , there'll be a lab test . Digital system labtest is i need to do the question provided , design a circuit , after that pass it up , then next task is build the circuit out then viola you're done . For programming my lecturer provides 3 question to us , from easy to hard , so you do it all you get full 10 marks

1.)Computer Programming

- Lab = tutorial

- You get 10 marks full from tutorial(lab) if you pass up every take back homework and pass up next week
(i get low because always lazy to do LOL)

- And the end of month you will have a Lab Test , where lecturer give you 3 easy to hard question , solve it inside lab and you can go back earlier like a boss LOL ( experience it = =)

- For Computer Programming you'll only have one midterm test .

- BTW during the entire lab the lecturer will also give you one side mission(small task) , that's beside doing every homework given in lab in order to get 10 marks , you also need to do one thing call See And Code , where a sample program is given and program out to do the same function as it is (mine nominated as best and get stolen by lecturer as example = =)

- Computer Programming 1 teaches C++ , but only cover basic C stuff that C++ inherit plus maybe your lecturer kind enough he will teaches object oriented stuff like class , and also STL(standard template .....)

- This subject rather special , coursework mark 60 instead of 50 just like others.

- There are two assignments you need to do where both are creating console program using C++ , the only thing is 1st assignment easier + lecturer won't be strict in this but 2nd one ...... , if you want i can give you see my 2nd assignment program but no source code can be given.Don't worry for assignment i also did it last minute , my 2nd assignment only took me 2 days to complete , then the headache stuff comes , that is writing report for it.

- BTW i forgot one thing , that is QUIZ!!!! it will be conducted in lecture class instead of lab , as when you have to wait for the lecturer to tell when . Some lecturer won't tell because he/she wants you to attend every class(not like me skipping till 6x% attendance , always cannot wake up at 8 am).

- Be good to the lecturer LOL , but i always find trouble with him because he always laugh at people assignment that's not good = = , btw he laugh like sin chan.

Over all Marks Distribution :

Quizzes = 5 %
Assignment = 5% + 15%: 20%
Test (Mid Term Test + Lab Test) = 10% + 10%: 20%
Tutorial = 15%(the homework = =)
Final Exam = 40%

- Yes it's true 1 assignment only LOL no idea whether is it my lecturer like that or it's rule.
- She never give us lab test nor quiz nor homework = = , quiz sometime she might at class ask question and say got marks , so u better raise up hand and make sure ans correct ( i lazy to raise LOL)
-Total assignment marks is 30% because labtest/quiz marks has been put into the assignment as presentation , you gotta have to complete the database + interface and make presentation , if you wanna play trick do as mine , upload a corrupted one during the deadline to lecturer then she will email you next or next 2 days mention it's corrupted so you need email her new one , that time you have spare time 1-2 days to complete the unfinished.
- It also has midterms test and of course final test .

Overall Marks Distribution :

MidTerm = 20%
Assignment = 30%
Final Exams = 50%

- Math just attend every quiz and make sure get more marks on it , then attend 2 midterm exam then finally final exam , then you can easily get A+.

As long as you fulfill the task requirement , you can't get full marks nobody ever get full marks in assignment before , just like essay how well you write should minus 1-2 marks . You need fulfill requirement , then marks oni evaluated , else 0 marks. you should say error checking or input validation instead of data validation(web programming term) , yes assignment need if it got mention in the rule . Timetable differ from sem to sem LOL . Question cannot give leh lecturer will say i violate then kill me . Report , input/output , pseudocode algorithm / flowchart and etc(forgot )

YES i do take 5 subjects last sem

For this kind of assignment you better only make use standard library and also windows api instead of downloading those ncurses so that you will learn more instead of relying

he gain nothing in revealing those also LOL , i give him program without source code he can do nothing
