Hi guys, new guy to cyber's FOM this June. Just wondering, I heard from a friend that this Sunday's registration day is only to confirm yourself as a student and I'll have to register for subjects online on another day. Don't think I'll be going for the orientation as I am traveling and don't plan to stay in their hostels. So could I get any updates here on the date to register my subjects?

I know accommodation will be provided.. but I already have friends studying in MMU and I'm not fond of their hostel.

I‘m lucky to have a friend to tell me the situation over there. pity those who is going in blindly

I‘ve been to the hostel blocks to check it out during open day and his description of it checks out. And he‘s a very old friend whom I trusts.

Some what yeah.. haha. He‘s been to the orientation so I could at least get some info (I won't say all). But 5 days of orientation is kinda extreme.

Registration is from 9am to 12pm. I think registration there will be no dress code but no t shirts and jeans for orientation.

Orientation will start in the afternoon.

You could. Or you could check out MMU‘s grounds. Internet at the hostel is awesome from what i‘ve heard. haha

Hmmm.. Still can't log in. When tried to find my schedule this message was shown 'No Subject Registration group defined for this student'

Subject registration is on thursday for orientation. haha..So most probably i'll call the office tomorrow.

For new students we can only start registering on thursday.

Hmmm. I‘m from fom and that is not what the office told.me. The office said that i could choose my sections according to my liking to plan my own timetable.

It is not complicated for seniors like you. But for us freshies this system is really complicated. Mmu registration and time-tabling system definately needs some touch-up. My humble opinion. =)

Yeah but i did my time table by calling up my faculty. I feel it is more of the registration that is a hassle. Previously i was in Inti and i didn‘t need to go through so much. For mmu i even had to send 2 copies of my documents to register. one on open day and one though mail
