Two days already on Midnote 3. Very happy with it. Unlike some users at XDA I do not faced those problems. Many users I find take shortcut installing causing those problems. When the developer instructions is so clear yet they think they are smarter and decide to do it their way. And then start asking questions why cannot be done their way ?
Example they ask do they need wipe, can they just install ontop over v2.0, what GB rom to use , etc - all these questions need not even asked as obviously they don't even read developer posting first
I see same scenario of some users here asking about how to flash certain roms when all the answers are always in the developer post #1 and they never bother to read. Whenever I want to flash any new stuffs I will take time to read through all the postings - yes it takes time but is worth it. I hate to look stupid asking questions when the answers are already there
I suggest you read his post # 1 thoroughly and follow his given steps strictly - do not skip any steps and at least read the last 10 pages of all the postings to get a feel of other users opinion and issues they faced

wanna ask here.. do anyone use social hub? in SGS2, the social hub support messenger like yahoo, gtalk, and hotmail. In GalNote social hub, there no more this function.. any replacement? thanks.

I never use stock mail as so limited with features
Suggest you try freemail app K9 Mail . It has more features, too long to list here but major points:
- you can setup multiple email accounts
- you can select to view all mails together of all the accounts or see it separately
- you can set display features : font sizes in practically every aspect of your mail fro TO header right to message body
- you can set mail to remain on server after download
- you can set mail to be deleted on server after download
- you cans et mail to be deleted on phone if mails deleted on server
- you can set time from checking mail every one minute, 5 min, 10 min up to several hours - all up to you
- you can set size of each email download
= etc plus many many more

Google+ and your pics will be private to you , all of em, you can share if you want, all on the cloud

I'm using the Gmail app and the mails normally in html format can't fit the screen of the Note. That means it's too big. Gonna try the "dog" mail you suggested

Yes agree K9 Mail is not bad but unfortunately it did not work for my company Exchange 2003 even I have the same configuration setting as my previous E72...have try all sort of combination of setting but no result.

Now looking for other mail client which is working for Exchange 2003....

one thing to ask about the K-9 mail. Does the mail completely download and store in the phone?

uncle benny, what clock u used in ur homescreen note, is that beautiful widget super clock? what skin is it?

Yes it is stored, You can define download size of mail up to 10 Mb or even any size

that's what I don't like too..
storing in the phone will eventually get bigger as the longer you use, the more mails you would have.
The limit of 10MB for example limits each mail to be a max downloadable size of 10MB right?
What happens to the mails which are bigger than 10MB? will it download partially or will it not download at all?

Like i said you can set no limit - it will be fully downloaded. Yes 10 MB per email. Not too sure about size for the free app. I am using the paid version Kaiten Mail. However all the features I mentioned is in the free app

em.... just flash from rocket v22 to v23, but internal memory drop from 450 to 140.

from xda stated no need to wipe before flash, so wonder is this normal?

KNRY there was already a keyboard fix.. its on page 1957 if im not mistaken.. So far i got it to work but that auto correction how to turn off @___@ the system is totally different.. i cant find where to turn it off.

EDIT - Nvm i use Go keyboard.. solved..

Got some problem with the push. Doesn't seem to push the email.
Something wrong with the settings I think..

nice now am downloading the final file (midnote 3.0 .zip) then after that will flash

To test . Launch Maps. make sure you do not select GPS on - skip it
Locate your position - it should work with your 3G on
