You can buy a physical authenticator from the blizzard store. Or if you have a smart phone you can get from the Android Market / Itunes. Then just attach to your battle.net account.

Damn, hope it is just like WOW. I am playing WOW US without any ...lagless proxy or gamepath, at 200ms no noticeable lags, on unifi.

Depends on the duration of the high ping period. If a short while only, then no, it doesn't really affect gameplay. However if prolong high ping, then the server cannot confirm your location and combat information, then yes. You will notice that you jerk in place, as if a chain is holding you in place

The game is less susceptible to lag spike as compared to WoW. However if there is the occasional super lag spike then you will notice it.

For those that are in Beta right now, can share what's your ping/latency like?
Any massive lag (esp. with 4 players)?
And what connection you're on for us to have an estimate?

sounds pretty good connection (assuming this is without tunneling or VPN?)
The beta patch 15 server down can't do anything but grit your teeth lor

yeah no tunneling

This is only an estimate unless you are playing the beta now (the beta server "should be" in same location as the live US server)
You can try to use http://www.speedtest.net/ to test your connection to a US server to "guess" how your connection will be.
Lag spike is when you're playing OK but then suddenly no response/lag for some time.

Your PC meets the minimum requirement but falls just short of the Recommended spec.
Chances are you can play on low/med without graphic lag.

Can try aim for High but if 4 player spam spells your PC graphics might lag


EDIT: If you are playing on ASIA or EUROPE server, I don't know if "Asia/Europe server" is actually in Asia/Europe itself.
Coz Blizz "Asia server" can be in US also (correct me if I'm wrong guys! )

depends on the seller, sometimes pre-order is cheaper than after release.. and sometimes they also give freebies for those who pre-ordered. stock allocation will go to those who pre-order first, then only go to ppl who walk in.
