What is my question here is that there is one piece that was tag as crossback inside a tank with white surroundings(i believe it is WTT from what i read at V5), the entire body seems whitist(with some signs of the gold rims) and can't even spot the base colour(no blue/gold only white). Care to share why is this?

Ive just bought highback golden aro around 20 cm and mix it in my comm tank... But i have my silver aro around 25 cm in the same tank too.... Luckily until now they r not fighting at all.... They r swimming together... No sign of agrresion .... Just hope it stays like this forever.... Just hope they will get used to each other so that they can live together till they mature....

Cool! How big is ur tank btw ?

4 feet... i know its not big enough for them...but they r still small... once they r big, im planning to change to 6/8 feet...

Yes..it is wtt..the based colour can be determine..but need skill to identify..it is hard to be identify due to wtt..i do not advise ppl buying any aro in white tank..coz many lfs would use such techlnique to cover things up..


How long have u comm ur aro together?

If still new a..they might fight later on..

if the red aro genetic is good a...when juvenile will straight enter light orange.. then slowly deepens into red..

no rush bro.. wait our shop open and u come see my personal red..

I see I see..I am not rushing bro leggedy..I am started to get into this hobby and trying to learn as much as I can before looking for one..been surfing the net and learning the basics to look for those which really turn red..hehe..also my plan to get the fish home is around end of october/november as good stuff don't come cheap eh..will drop by your shop when I have the free time but hope you and bro pigpig dun get mad if I waste your time and buys nothing..hehe..

only for a week now,,,... if they fight, can they badly injured and die? or only just the fins are broken?.....

erm..if 2 aros they fight will be deadly..usually one die...
there is also some where they dun fight at all..chances...

i would say when comm aro up is all gambling..
coz the aro characteristic do play a big role..some aro loves to fight..some jz tend to avoid..but majority will fight

hi every1 here, i new in arowana, but nw i gt a problem, dun noe any ppl can help me with it or nt...
I bought a BBSHB from BKT merah farm last year, and now i moving bec to sarawak ad...
I wanna bring it bec to sarawak, but i dun noe how to get the health cert,import permit and export permit...

as i ad ask all the jabatan perikanan, kastam, and airport cargo...
All they jz say onli ned import & export permit ,thn the health cert for the fish, onli ned tis 3 document, thn i can bring my fish fish bec ad...
But i still dun noe wher to get tis documet...

Export import permit can only be obtain from an arowana farm with a CITIES permit..and for them to produce a cert for u, i am certain that they r gonna charge u alot..as for the health cert..i got no idea...

U can try asking Xian Leng shah alam..they r the biggest in malaysia..

If all those fail..come find me again..hehe..

They say they cant help too, and i oso call to the jabatan perikanan putrajaya, and jabatan haiwan dan binatang at shah alam too...
Oso same as the MAS cargo and KLIA quaranten department...

they jz say pump in gas then hide it inside backpag and bring it bac...
i jz dun wan to bring it illegally, cz b4 i gt exp that i bring it bec than my pearl and green aro was taken by the kastam when i boarding...
