Suggest you to try Kencana HL at Lumut. Small place so you can learn a little bit of everything. MMHE is too large and you may be confined to a narrow scope.

Thanks bro, will try my best to secure position at there. Kencana HL different with Sapura Kencana rite? Cause already apply at Sapuken.

Hello guys,

I need some tips for my second interview (phone-interview with their FSR Control) with Dresser-Rand Asia Pacific for position Field Service Representative (FSR) in Control. My first interview was done last week with their Service Manager, Regional Manager and Training & Development Manager which covered a lot on my previous experiences on how to handle client during my service job. For this second interview, i do not have any idea the interview will be going for what scope. Anyone here had experienced or interviewed for this company? Or maybe someone from the Dresser-Rand Asia Pacific? Need some helps from you guys.

Thanks in advance

Today, I met a casing guy who lose one finger. He said he lose that finger 20 years ago while working as roughneck at the rig floor. He said, he was always offshore and he could not make it to see his dying parents. He just managed to see them at the grave during the funeral.

It makes me think twice before joining drilling contractor as rig crew.

Just went for TMH interview for the position of graduate engineer. The problem is they have to bond you for 5 years which is what i am worrying about. Lets say if i am not happy there i can't just resign within the 5 years.

rig crew's are among the highest paid laborers in the world. The highest position would be the driller which you can work your way up from a rough neck or roustabout. I don't know about Malaysia but in NZ the drillers there get about 250K NZD. In low pay sh!t hole Malaysia that is a ticket to a good pay.

C'mon! its 1 month on 1 month off. Get over it! If your friend is in Casing and in Malaysia, he is probably in Weatherford.
