i think murphy would be better.
but you have to handle work stress.

but seriously depend on your current location, if office is near to shell HQ, why not?

I highly recommend calling inernal HR teams directly if you are making a speculative application.

Sometimes your CV will be overlooked as they are extremely busy and more than likely, your CV will be sent into a portal and not directly into their inbox.

If you send it directly to them on the back of a phone call, not before, it will have a much greater impact.

Remember, you will be much more attractive to an employer if your CV is not saturating the market. It looks unprofessional and it will annoy recruiters (agents & in-house teams) if they recieve your CV from multiple locations.

Finding the appropriate person will be quite simple if you use LinkedIn.

Ex-PETH. Prime Sourcing or formerly known as Mitco Japan MJSB is a trading arm subsidiary of Petronas. Is like middle agent lah easy to speak.

Personally, when I was working with PPTSB & MLNG last time, I don't really keen to deal with MJSB, because of price factor. dahlah mark up price mahal2, dah tu bila nak issued ITB the OPU's wajib single source/direct nego with MJSB. ape kejadahhhhh tongue.gif whenever if I saw MJSB in SWEC list, I will exclude them haha

MJSB has a lot of trouble when dealing with MLNG last time, particularly in MRR and MDD project.

If your company is a non-bumi and want to bid in O&G tender, MJSB is the entry door. Read through about PDA1974 act about local vendor participation, you will know what I mean

Added on June 8, 2012, 1:17 pmbtw, are you getting a job offer from MJSB? or your company dealing with them?

'some said they are consultant, some said they are are fabricator, some said they are service provider, some even said they are client'

all above are true.. except they are not the enduser.. what I can say KNM is main contractor.. and they have their in-house engineering team..

and as per bro yakup commented...

Dear all experienced offshore sifu,

I am planning to take offshore course at MSTS Miri a few months later but do not know which course is better (in terms of general application in most of the oil and gas companies offshore platform). So, may I know which course should I take first before registering myself into the course?

Thanks in advance.
