I am a mech eng fresh grad and got these two offers.

1.Static engineer in Technip
2.Global Rotational Development Program in Cameron Johor

Technip offer is dealing with technical stuff. While Cameron will be more on management. I am keen with cameron as it offers more exposure. However, I scare i will stuck in manufacturing work which i dislike.

Any suggestion?

The programme is to groom up future plant managers. Yes, its more on management since you will have a lot of managers under you in the future. You will be stationed on manufacturing plants, slow move from department to department, then become the manager of one department. After years of experience and shifting around different departments and plants around the globe, they may promote you as the plant manager. As for reward, pay is good but not as much as those field engineers. However, there are truckloads of benfits covering you and your families. Down side? You will be more concentrated in managing the plant rather than getting involve with OnG industry.

is it okay to send resume to company even the suitable position is not advertise?YES
is it okay just send resume by email/online? YES, if you have the right contacts
i already tried send to many...but still didnt get any news sad.gif try again and again, don't give up. Sometimes there's too many applicants to filter. Inside recommendation is always good to keep you shortlisted for interview.
but i will keep trying...
it is hard to find a job for fresh graduate cgpa lower than 3.00...Yes, but it doesn't mean you won't get hired. Try not to be too picky/fussy. Get the job and gain experience 1st.

Ex-PETH. Prime Sourcing or formerly known as Mitco Japan MJSB is a trading arm subsidiary of Petronas. Is like middle agent lah easy to speak.

Personally, when I was working with PPTSB & MLNG last time, I don't really keen to deal with MJSB, because of price factor. dahlah mark up price mahal2, dah tu bila nak issued ITB the OPU's wajib single source/direct nego with MJSB. ape kejadahhhhh tongue.gif whenever if I saw MJSB in SWEC list, I will exclude them haha

MJSB has a lot of trouble when dealing with MLNG last time, particularly in MRR and MDD project.

If your company is a non-bumi and want to bid in O&G tender, MJSB is the entry door. Read through about PDA1974 act about local vendor participation, you will know what I mean

Added on June 8, 2012, 1:17 pmbtw, are you getting a job offer from MJSB? or your company dealing with them?

Two guys went to gerai makan. When they're making payment, they discover the price was ridiculously high. With much frustration, one guy asked.

Guy1: Why is it so EXPENSIVE?
Shopkeeper: Oil & Gas market price!
Guy2: But your dish is not Oil & Gas standard.

Just a joke. But places like miri, KK, labuan, have high cost of living.

Its good to share information, but there are times we need to be cautious as some sensitive information are deemed classified. You may put your father in law in risk, posting such details. As you know some stake holders are sensitive at letting such news loose to investers. Just some advice, don't take it so hard ya icon_rolleyes.gif

Its some sort of ERP system. Don't worry, its not essential to know, but its good if you have experience. They will train you basic SAP (Slow And Painful) System. Its very power.
