I am a mech eng fresh grad and got these two offers.
1.Static engineer in Technip
2.Global Rotational Development Program in Cameron Johor
Technip offer is dealing with technical stuff. While Cameron will be more on management. I am keen with cameron as it offers more exposure. However, I scare i will stuck in manufacturing work which i dislike.
Any suggestion?
The programme is to groom up future plant managers. Yes, its more on management since you will have a lot of managers under you in the future. You will be stationed on manufacturing plants, slow move from department to department, then become the manager of one department. After years of experience and shifting around different departments and plants around the globe, they may promote you as the plant manager. As for reward, pay is good but not as much as those field engineers. However, there are truckloads of benfits covering you and your families. Down side? You will be more concentrated in managing the plant rather than getting involve with OnG industry.1.Static engineer in Technip
