That's my only problem. A trustworthy mechanic. I went to Raydiance Motorsport to do all my previous servicing. But their labour change is way too high. Anyone know any reputable workshops here in PJ, Sunway and Subang area?

Guys, I have a few question on the viva 660 manual. Sometimes when my sister drives the car, if you release the clutch fast while accelerating, you get a few knock sound coming from the front.

Could it be a faulty driveshaft or CV joint?

faulty drive shaft is usually accompanied by a short "whining" sound during cornering

not too sure bout cv joints though. so far only had to replace drive shaft boot due to oil leaking out

Spent almost 1k changing everything today. Kena conned by this spare part shop. They told the engine mounting is Daihatsu (Thailand) so I went with it. Sent to workshop they said it's not sad.gif Just went with it and replaced everything Engine & Absorber mount, Brake Pads, Timing Belt & Water Pump. Now car idles at a constant RPM and everything feels like new! rclxms.gif Except for when put in reverse, still vibrate like hell.

Most of the engine noise is coming from the heat shield for the extractor. So he just tightened it with some new screws. Which initially I thought was caused by the worn Engine Mount. Okaylah, almost reach major service anyway hehe.

My viva already past the warranty period, now looking to service at outside. Any recommendation about the engine oil? Some foremen told me only got 5k engine oil, not like 10k as perodua.
Thanks

10k oil got, can use fully synthetic oil. just make sure the oil rating is 5w30
5k oil is semi-synthetic

i am smile.gif. i'm using 15'x6.5jj with 175/50/R15 tires.

what did you mean by driving experience ? i do feel a little more stable than my old 14' elite rims tho. but that could be due to the fact that i've got UR bars installed for the whole car and also GAB spring. hmm.gif

That is an old pic, haven't taken latest pic yet.
The black thing is insuflex, got some still sticking on it, I haven't remove it. Last time I put insuflex on cai hose, some sticked onto the strut bar. Can be removed nicely no worries.

last time bought new from speedworks PJ jalan 222 for rm 200+

rims was around RM899 back in Jan 2011. tires, it depends on what tires do you want to use nod.gif .

UR bars? here is the rough price estimation

Rear Anti Roll Bar - RM330
Fender Bar - RM250
Rear Strut Bar - RM160
Front Strut Bar - RM160
Front Lower Bar - RM200
Rear Lowr Bar - i forgot rclxub.gif

you can't use that price because it's not the same to every shop sir smile.gif.

the suspension setup, i'm using stock absorber with GAB sport spring. i don't know how much is the GAB sport spring as i got mine for super duper brother's price from a friend of mine. mr ilyas_james rclxm9.gif

i see you spending more than RM2k for these alone.
whats the significant difference after this upgrade? if backseat two adults and going over curb the tire will hit or not?

anyway, very aggressive looking viva. nice. rclxms.gif
