Hi Viva owners. I want to know is Viva 850 interference or non-interference engine.
The second is, i recently tried to change my own timing belt, before the belt lose, i have align crank and camshaft within the markings. But when i want to install new one, i accidentally pull the camshaft, and it moved about 5 or 6 teeth. The crankshaft doesn't move. Is it ok just to reverse the movement to align it back and install the new belt with this situation. I haven't turn on the engine at the moment.

Hi all, wanna ask something.

My wife Viva is year 2008, 70k km mileage. All the while just services as usual.
Now want to pass the car to parent drive nearby.

What to take note anything, might need to change for this 15 years car.
She want to change all before give to parent.
The only thing I remember we have changed is engine mounting. Anything else?

Thanks.

How much is it to change the gearbox? Is it worth it?
Viva 2007 1.0cc.

Car sometimes doesn't wanna launch off. It's like the launch gear engages half only. and the last gear doesn't shift sometimes.

Guys just wondering, is Viva Elite okay to change tire from stock 165 55 14 to 165 60 14? That 55 seems too low profile hence is quite stiff when goes over small poth holes

General guidelines for tires upsize or downsize shouldn’t exceed 3%. In your case it is bigger than 3%(3.3%) your speedometer will be inaccurate. It’s your decision. This car the absorber setup is hard plus short wheel base hence the ride is not comfortable. That’s my experience with this car.

May I know what tire in this size you are thinking to change to?

Is it easy to find tires in this size for my own information?

165 60 14 there is Yokohama ES32, Toyo Proxes CR1, Goodyear Dunlop and even Giti which is rare. So I was wondering 60 profile is it possible hence less stiffness ride.

Btw which grade oil you guys normally use now? 10W30? Or 5W30?

hi guys, i want to upgrade my stock perodua viva 850 radiator fan to bigger motor. can i take out the radiator fan without open the condenser and radiator? because if open the condenser the aircond gas sure will leak out from the condenser pipe.
