inside that one...adjust up and down

Added on April 9, 2012, 10:32 pmthis is my Problem :
1.High Fuel comsumption (RM50 for less than 230km)
2.'Speed-cut?' (before this my car can easily archived 120-130km/h...but now from 80-120km/h also hard ><)
3. Engine vibration (mounting changed still shaking)

Mod:
engine..
Redline drop in filter
Simota small air breather
Denso Iridium IK20
Eneos 5w-30
Motul ATF
(other all stock)

Exhaust..
3-1 extractor
2" flexible pipe(nanas)
2" inlet bullet (10-11" body)
2" S-flow Muffler
piping all 1.6"

electronic..
Pivot stabilizer + grounding (2years)
New battery changed no longer
TPS jus changed to new one

Others
15"swift rim + 175/50/15 dunlop tyre.
*
what is the small air breather for? try removing it..

as for the exhaust, are u using stock J pipe or change already?
almost similar to my setup except, mine is all 1.6"
0-100kmph takes some time, but 100kmph onwards very rev friendly, can climb very fast till 160kmph then i scared to go further

i tink your bullet, muffler and flexi, if possible change to 1.6" instead of 2"

however i found a better setup. change all to 1.5" piping and use 1 bullet only. i havent try this setup yet but confirmed can improve pickup and shift power band to low end pickup.

and also, try cleaning your throttle body. would definitively help alot

as for your fuel consumption its quite bad. mine rm50 can go minimum 280km to 300km++ with my modifications. my guess is your exhaust setup causing FC to increase.

as for engine vibrate, all 3 cylinder engine memang vibrate like hell wan. however, new mounting shld help to bring the vibrations back to the time when the car is still new

Added on April 10, 2012, 12:10 ambtw my mods are similar to yours;

Motul300v 5w-30
Motul Coolant
Motul ATF
Denso iridium plugs
Works Engineering Drop in filter
Works Engineering Lightened crank pulley
Forged Racing Radiator Fan
Full SS 1.6" piping, flexipipe, 2 bullets, S-flow muffler
BC Racing V1 Coilovers
Stiffrings Front Set
11" Honda Caliper + R32 Cross drilled rotors
Rear 15" Rims SSR Professor SP2R + Front Lenso Maglite

Currently experiencing rough idling.. At times when aircond & compressor is off, will drop below 1k till about 500rpm, engine vibrates like hell.. So i have to keep my aircond on to prevent it

Whoa that's some excellent FC. Mine is about 350km per full tank (always fill up once the last bar is reached and the petrol icon blinks). I pump Shell RON95... Does the brand of fuel make any difference? What do you use? Granted my mileage so far is less than 3k.

When the light blink,I still run for another 70KM but you don't try it if you not so sure about your FC. I also pump Shell Ron95. I think because I regular service my car , so that why this is what I get.

FYI,for the first 2 years I got my car, I was pumping V-Power Racing fuel into my Viva lou po chai. Even those ppl pump oil beside me also stunned awhile laugh.gif , the feeling they look at me is AWESOME ..

bro, i dont think that is the correct way of resetting ECU.

Proper way is to remove your battery terminals (just remove the -ve terminal will do) for about 30min - 1hr or so, then plug it back in after that.
Start your engine and dont rev, leave it running for 5-10 minutes then turn off your engine. After resetting, just drive normally and try not to rev and hentam the engine kau kau. let it adapt to your modifications or changes for few days then see if there is any difference in FC.

usually happens no power when hot weather, and got power when night time and cold weather right? haha!

thats because of the air temperature. colder air sucked into engine = more powah! rclxms.gif

For the UR bars i install stage by stage..the came to one point ive install most of them already..
The car feels a bit stiff and nimble in conners..
In ur case i suggest go for anti roll bars..

hi guys, jz wondering.. my viva is about 2 years, n lately i realized the fuel consumption for my car is increasing. well, laz time i could used like half tank of petrol for a week... n nw even when i drive barely 40km, the oil meter starts falling lik crazy. then i start monitoring the consumption.. its like full tank n i can go around 280km. by the end of the week, tank empty d.
so is it normal, or probably i need to do some servicing? any idea?

Is is auto transmission? Might wanna check your timing belt. This happened to my Wira.

Or sometimes the battery is not connected properly. This happened to my sister's Kelisa.
