Btw, how to count those divident wor ? Example, if I got RM2000 in ASB. Then ?  rclxub.gif

Repeat question, you may refer to this link,
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2256158/+500

And you will be reward compounding power for the following year, if you never withdraw the dividend and re-invest the dividend.
You may do a search engine; "compound interest calculator" to find out more.

Wuld investment in the PRS scheme be better than Amanah Saham? hmm.gif

You already question this on other thread, the fund is not guarantee and may goes up or down depend on the performance, as mentioned 30% of the fund can be withdraw every years while remaining 70% can be withdraw once each 55 year old. This is only other form of mutual fund, just like you purchasing an insurance plan (NAV) prices is not fixed, only a small number of private companies mutual fund can beat return up to 12% each year.

For Private Retirement Funds, there are a lot to consider especially it a private companies. While government can fall into big hole of debt, private companies can goes as well.

hi there,

can i ask around how many times you tried before you get the rm400 units ?

did you try more than 10 times ?

Thanks
*
Do you mean by 10 times in a single day? those agents not gonna tried that much for you. Up until now, i question some banks and PNB, they mentioned for new account to open for Chinese is almost zero except announcement return on that day, number of banks say, never for AS1M while PNB say yes but not many, other fund almost zero. You may try your luck too.

Not sure, last week I went with a bumi, he went to top up and it successful.
Based on the report 2012, it only 4.229 billion out of 5.01 billions.
On last month, ASNB customer services do reply me an email, it not stated ASD is fully subscribed except other funds.

Then? you can google yourselves and find some bankers, do a simple comparison before step on it.
Based on your questions, It seem you're still in the field of doubtful about ASB loans.
Sorry, if i'm wrong.

Anyway, I do not really understand what method by adding "0" without any dash (-) sign.
Do you mean, the registration paper slip, you put infront?

Eg,

But in the registration, you put, "0801520127055" ? hmm.gif

Good! I don't know why they need that 0 in front tho. They should specify properly on the website how is the format they want, who could have thought the IC needs a 0 in front. And last time I messaged CIMB many times, they just reply standard message, say please refer to PNB, bla bla bla and all the addresses of PNB etc.

My IC is written by hand on the passbook on first page along with member name, membership no. etc. You don't have it? The top-up slip does have the IC number with 0, somewhere on the codes. There are quite a few lines of codes there, as with most transactions, some reference no.s, trace codes. etc.
*
Yes, i saw my slips with code "0" follow by my Identity Card number for my different funds.
thought some kind of computer generated code so I leave it, plus those tellers never mentioned about it. blink.gif
And just like yours, my passbook also hand written by bank tellers.

anyone can predict how much will be the dividen and bonus for ASB this year? really hope can over 9% so i can clear my PTPTN loan next year...
*
Speculation and prediction will not give you a re-assurance and satisfaction to clear your worry. As such, you still need to relay on the real exact return from PNB for such case.
Even some parties claimed it will goes above or below your average points.

Hello, I got a question.

Which one is better? Put RM200 every month into ASB, or put RM2400 (12x200) lump sum on january into ASB every year?
*
In Lump sum on first January each year, as you mentioned above.
This is because it will be pro-rated by remaining months before distribution of dividend.

Muslim bros investing in the above, one quick question , is investing in AS1M/ASM/ASW2020/ASN/ASB Halal ?

Heard somewhere that guaranteed profits is haram in Islam ?
*
Pemodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) never claimed all these funds which were opened guaranteed in returns in future.
Only some parties used past performance return to sell their ASB loan to convince the return is safe, majority only taking it as investment vehicle because it is offered in such a fixed units which is not volatile in pricing units.

It already stated very clearly when you surf the main pages below the bottom. For "Halal", you may refer back to your religious.

agree.

Even the AS1M also like they not guarantee will maintain RM1 / unit , am i correct?
i'm not sure, but seems that the way they promote AS1M is different with ASW2020
*
they will probably maintain in $1 per units, only the return is not guarantee, but the true value for the fund may below on that average or more than that.
Just like they make an availability in switching fund between ASB and ASN.

ASN in the earliest year is a fixed price which capped at $1, but however later ASB in 1990 was announced which cause ASN is no longer fixed fund and price may up or down due to the movement of Net Asset Value (NAV). However, during that commencement period, they allowed on such as switching fund from ASN to ASB which is capped.

If you want higher return, of course ASW2020 is better since the charge is much lower, the debt ratio is yet, better than AS1Malaysia.

Today, government promote more unit trust investment, such as private retirement funds and Amanah Hartanah Bumiputra (AHB) but yet, all of these fixed fund normally only reserved for bumiputera.

If one find it difficult to topup their ASNB funds, an alternative (esp if one qualifies and >55 yo) will be EPF's 1Malaysia Retirement Savings Scheme.

http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysi...-from-jan-2013/

http://www.kwsp.gov.my/portal/en/web/kwsp/...-savings-scheme

How does the dividend return look like for EPF's 1 Malaysia Retirement Saving Scheme, or it same with "Employee Provided Fund" return?
What the exact meaning for 5% contribution or subject to $60 per year for 5 year continuously.

Assuming in a scenario,
Mr ABC having a fixed income salary and consider as an employee in a listed company. However after several years, Mr ABC resigned from his initial position and took a business without fixed salaries such as agents to corporation. Do Mr ABC still eligible for this scheme since he was working previously with account in "Employee Provided Fund" but no salary deduction after resignation.

AFAIK,
1. returns same as EPF yearly dividend
2. for 5 years, btw 2010-2014, govt will give you rm60/year for the first rm1200 contribution (rm1200*5%=rm60)
3. Mr.ABC is eligible if no more fixed income and no longer contribute the monthly epf deductions.
and if he is >55yo, withdrawal is as per retired person.
*
Employee get advantage by another 13% additional from employer for fixed income salary earner.
thanks for your information.

Haha, funny 2012-12-21 post for today from administration.
