5% return ? It's 5% sales charge for normal mutual funds .

Fixed fund return with no charge around 6.35 per unit or higher depend yearly dividend distribution for non-bumi fund. And relatively safe with no sales charge, no fluctuate NAV.

But my money is small like tiny little ants.
If I really want long term I must pump in huge amount of $$ to be happy with the return.

By looking on your nickname, you should be 21 year old. Correct me if i'm wrong.

If you can afford the losses then should be okey, if that is your last golden eggs. Then let it received the power of compounding.

If you really can start from nothing once you loss it. Then, that will be your choices. Happy investing

Feel like a rip-off to be charging RM1 for unsuccessful transactions. Not only have they made it difficult for non-bumi to purchase, be it bank or online, but now they're charging for other miscelleneous things. This is supposed to be governments services to the public, by offering for public to invest, it has to at least be convenient and friendly to the people.

Like that de lo..
Bank always charge this and that.
Nowadays, even ATM machine has it own limitation for withdrawal per months to some bank.

It almost several years, ASNB never announced a new fund to the public, except Sara 1Malaysia, which is for household only. But still, the fund is invested into AS 1Malaysia.

Hopefully they will launch a new fund rolleyes.gif

The economy is back on par nowadays.. they will only launch fund when economy is bad.. like that time the massive launching of ASNB products and then sukuk.. now all quiet down, not much hope for it, maybe a pre-election launch? But I personally don't think they will launch anytme soon.

hmm... in fact, MAAKL Mutual introduced a new fund this month. it is called MAAKL-HW Shariah Flexi Fund...

it is the latest member to our succesful Flexi series. basically its managed by the same people behind the succesful MAAKL-HW Flexi Fund
whoever is worried or lazy about when to allocate your asset in equity, bond or money market can try this fund. the fund manager will do all the assest allocation for investors.

info

the new MAAKL-HW Shariah Flexi Fund is managed by Hwang Investment, who helped to make 104% in 3 years for MAAKL-HW Flexi investors smile.gif

bsed on track record, one can invest with confidence smile.gif

Based on the info, they're same.
Both have the same services via online banking.
This including 24 hour hours a day, and minimum amount invested is $1.00

Currently, both of them still charge $1.00 service fees regarding successful or unsuccessful, service charge is non-refundable. And, you still can't view your ASB account neither two of these bank, currently still not applicable.
